Frontwoman Martamaria (Hungary) can be found in the Guinness Book of World Records for her unique vocal range. She is joined by prog rocking keyboard player Diego Tejeida (Mexico) & guitar, sitar/anything with strings "hero" Charlie Cawood (UK) and Daniele Panza on the other guitar and backing vocals. A big thanks to all our friends who came to our gig at the Dry Bar last night! It was our first performance as a six-piece - we've now been joined by our second guitarist Daniele Panza, from Italy. Dan, despite a tiny stage and minimal rehearsals, managed to give a great performance!
Our next gig will be 20th of July at the Bull And Gate in Kentish Town. Please

It's amazing! We had a fantastic gig at the Bullet Bar in Camden. It was even bigger fun as our friend band Cavalar was playing as well. Guys...so many people headbanging! We got an offer straight after the gig to support De Profundis in Reading on the 14th of June. You can imagine...

The week went pretty much with preparing the first Achilla gig which went down amazing!!! We were the second band to play of four bands and had so many fans that we got payed eventhough we weren't the headline act!
There were lots of friends and family to help too. I must mention David Eve our brilliant soundman who made sure we can focus on the show and our manager DeZ who supported us. What a party afterwards...u wouldn't wanna miss it!!!
It was amazing to see such a suprising start.
We've got 2600 dollars here was the follow up surprise and we'll be ready with the new songs soon.
We promise to surprise you with our work.

We are ready with the drums, the bass and the guitar parts for all our new songs in the studio.
We'll carry on with the sitar and vocals on the 1st of April. It gives David our sound engineer a fair idea about all the songs he hasn't heard yet before the sound check which will happen in the evening of the 4th of April before our gig in the Ruskin Arms... Hi everyone,
We had a small showcase yesterday. We're ready to gig. Our gigs are going to start in late March/ early April. The first will be held at Klub Requiem at The Ruskin Arms in East London.
Yeah, it takes a little time to arrange them but once we start we'll have good quality gigs and we're not going to stop. Our manager is working on it.
We plan to record three more songs soon and of course we're working on new material too.

We had a band photography as we have become a 5 piece!! Matt (bass) and Vince (drums) are two amazing Italians whom we have had for just over a month but we couldn't imagine being without them. We're having a great time and have lots of plans.

It's the 2nd of December.
When we went to the studio with 'Dolor' it was only the first day of the last month of the year. And in the first in a row of studio sessions, we have the piano recorded and some awesome guest percussion thanks to Daniel Ulrich. We'll record the vocals on the 13th of December and then only the mixing is left...

What a day! A very nice lady called Diana from the Wimbledon Guardian interviewed me about Achilla and Sellaband.
Although I sent her our full press pack with the different quotes from BBC Five Live and other papers, she still kept me talking for an additional half an hour. Why? Of course because of Sellaband. She couldn't believe she hasn't heard of it and was truly fascinated to hear what I told her about this fascinating community and the aim we all work for together.
We shall see what will happen next Thursday:)

I think it is nearly impossible to express how happy we are...always some great news although we've only been here 3 weeks!!
Our song 'Wild Flower' was chosen for Talentcast's online radio show, with some other really good songs from different SAB artists.
Great! SAB has it's own hit list. If you aren't one of our believers you probably didn't get my e-mail about it but you can find everything on www.talentcast.nl if you're interested.
