AIOIA 50K PLAN
Up to 50K: every believer will receive the first mp3 AIOIA album (11 tracks)
OUR AMAZING 50K PLAN WILL BE PUBLISHED AT 25K
Why? Hehe... please, wait a little... for upcoming surprises =P
I can at least tell you that it's not a 50K plan, it's not exactly a business plan, it's not a battle briefing, it's not an advertisement campaign, it's not a trade contract, it's not... a lot of things.
So, what could it be?
Could it be a 100K plan? a covenant? a disclosure act? a world first? a joint-venture? a special offer?
What do you think?
Believers, YOU ARE THE LABEL!
AIOIA have a label: OEMII MUSIC
According to a contract between OEMII MUSIC and AIOIA's believers, you can share the Publishing Rights for 10 parts and over! (Under 10 parts, you may create a group of believers with one representative.)
Classicaly, to sell music, we need a producer and a publisher. The first one produces and purchases the CD while the second one promotes the artist to get broadcasting and provide publishing rights.
By investing at least 10 parts into AIOIA, you'll receive a contract as a co-publisher which will be activated as soon as the 50K point is reached, and which will provide publishing rights to you for years, according to the amount of your invest.
This publisher contract concerns both the musical and the lyrics rights and goes for a global 50% sharing of the publishing rights collected by the label OEMII MUSIC, the other 50% being invested into promotion activities and incomes.
Why are 10 parts needed?
Easy to understand: a lot of associates costs a lot in shipping, secretary services, phone calls, aso.
If you can't get 10 parts alone, create a little invest group with your family or a few friends and manage it under one single name.
PS1: AIOIA songs are subscripted at the SACEM in France and, after 50K, will be published under DRM and normaly declared at the SDRM, France.
PS2: if you have any question or observation, please feel free to drop me a personal message or a comment.
PS3: IMPORTANT INFORMATION - basically (for 10 parts and over) one part gives you the right to be both a co-producer in SAB then with IAMAI prod for half of your invested amount, and a co-publisher with OEMII MUSIC for half of your invested amount. For instance, if you got 10 parts, you get 5 co-producer parts with IAMAI prod and 5 co-publisher parts with OEMII MUSIC.
With IAMAI prod, you keep in business with AIOIA after the two years of the SAB contract.
IAMAI prod is the former executive producer in contract with AIOIA and has already produced the first album you can download in its mP3 version since you are a believer.
At 50K, every believer will receive a contract between IAMAI prod and himself to prorogate the ROI from production after the fall of the SAB contract.
If you wanna know more, if you want to receive a letter of intention, feel free to send me a PM.
Alex Vicq, IAMAI prod head manager
HIT THE DOUBLE POINT TARGET*

* When you see this advertisement at the AIOIA's banner, you can double with gift parts the parts you buy to reach the stair at nK with AIOIA. For instance, if the "Parts sold amount" is at $4850, the 15 parts you buy to hit 5K give you back 15 Gift parts (this offer cannot be added to our current believer incitative, but replaces it while the advertisement is "on")

Hi friends and believers!
For only 1 part:
BELIEVE AND GET THE AIOIA's full mp3 first album FREE!!!
11 original tracks! More than 50mn of music!
Get the AIOIA / UMMO UXA first album, recorded and mixed at the Stéphane Sarrazin Studio, then mastered at the Cargo Studio (Montreuil, France).
"UMMO UXA" (The Ummit Show) is the first record by the AIOIA band, which entered Sellaband to find a label and a tour-manager and to record the second CD of the AIOIA Alien Songs Trilogy.
The original AIOIA musical touch is due to the encounter of a talented musician, composer and singer, Stéphane Sarrazin, a science-fiction french writer, Alex Vicq and three great voices, Nadj M'Rini Hendriks, C-leen and [Un]cover. Therefore, this means that AIOIA has got four great voices to perform on stage!
Listen to these amazing songs, visit the following MySpace pages:
http://myspace.com/ladynoiser
to listen to the whole first album and read the lyrics
http://myspace.com/stephanesarrazin
to discover the rough versions of the upcoming new songs ("Angel's Tears" and "The Earth is dead") at the Stéphane Sarrazin's studiolab
http://myspace.com/aaex
to find links to the artists we are supporting
then you'll believe, that's for sure (lol), and help AIOIA hit the goal on Sellaband!
Thanks for reading this page and being with us up to the top of progressive Rock!
Members of the band:
Stéphane Sarrazin: composer, arr, guitars, keyboards, other instruments & lead vocals.
Nadj M'Rini Hendricks: lead vocals
C-leen: lead vocals
Dji: guitar
Didier Baude: bass
Andreï Karassenko: drums & percussions, vocals
[Alex Vicq :lyrics]
Guest star for lead vocals on "Crop-Circles" and for background and Ummoian vocals on "The Earth is dead" and "Angel's Tears": a 16 years old female talent whose name is [UN]COVER and who is a singer-songwriter. Visit her Myspace, she's amazing!
http://www.myspace.com/uncoversound
Where did perform the main members of AIOIA before their creating this new band?
Stéphane Sarrazin used to compose and play guitar for several famous artists on great stages like The Zenith and as a studio musician and arranger.
Nadj M'Rini Hendriks has been singing on many huge stages too (champ de Mars, hippodrome de Longchamp) and was selected to sing for the Pope Jean-Paul II in front of about 1,5 million persons and a lot of TV channels.
C-leen has already performed on mythic stages as the "Casino de Paris" and the "Olympia" (Paris).
[Un]cover (Marylou) has never performed on stage but has a big skill into studio recording as background and lead vocals and is a talented songwriter.
These four lead vocals are ready to jump into the international scene to perform the "AIOIA alien songs". They will be joined from time to time by guest-stars from Sellaband or from "outside".
Didier Baude was fromerly a jazz bassist, used to play at jazz and jazz-rock sessions with Stéphane Sarrazin.
Andreï Karassenko is usually performing in symphonic orchestras as a percussionist.
The first album of the AIOIA alien songs saga, “UMMO UXA”, includes 11 songs:
1) HELLO BROTHER
2) UMMO OEMII IN MADRID
3) THE WHALES FROM ATLANTIS
4) THE ENOCH SYNDROM
5) BABEL RECALL
6) INUXA U BEACH
7) THE CAVES OF BAYAN KARA-ULA
8) MINISTAMIA
9) ABYDOS GATES
10) GROOM LAKE SECRETS
11) TIKAL UEWA
The lyrics are written in English and in Ummoian (a language spoken by so-called exotic people from outer-space, who are supposed to come from the UMMO planet).
Of course, this is a fiction, even if the information about this exotic language seems to be strangely serious and well built.
This is obviously not the purpose of AIOIA to decide whether the UMMO OEMII (Oummomen) do exist or not, since the message they are giving us is mainly an eco-friendly message to help us preserve our planet, that they call GAA.AIOIA on MySpace

Michael Palmieri (concertiste piano, compositeur symphonique, USA):
« Glad to listen to your terrific music. Your "Enoch Syndrom" is fabulous!
Wonderful - right on vocals, beautiful music and fantastic musicianship! all my best," Michael Palmieri
Matthew Rishaw (compositeur multi-instrumentiste, arrangeur, USA):
I really like what you have playing now!! The way it swells in reverse "doppler" effect...Very nice...This kind of treatment is exactly what I'm attempting. That moment when I was a child and was falling asleep by the fireplace at my grandparents old farmhouse, the moment when one slips between the lucid world and the dream world, when all the incidental noises in the room, the conversation and the radio become random swirlling thoughts and images...I've always been fascinated by this...as you may already sense...
Best wishes to you from the "colonies"... Matthew...( a human in training)
Jean-Patrick Voindrot (compositeur classique-moderne-jazz, arrangeur, multi-instrumentiste, France) :
JP Voindrot Group:
Coucou la Tribu
Je passais chez toi to listen to your awe-inspiring songs, pour me détendre les méninges(hehe), ça tue grave, "Hello Brother". What a kick!!!
J'espère vous voir bientôt!
Much love
JP
Bonne continuation.
Amicalement,
Michaël.
Pianorama (pianiste, USA):

Yvan Le Gall (auteur-compositeur, guitariste, France):
Will'O The Wisp (Groupe pop/rock, France):
Doriano Zurlo (pianiste, compositeur, Italie):
I am just listening to your music now. Your work is very well produced!
it is the difference (I think) between to work with a good indie records label or to work alone, like I do... are you agree?
Anyway, TIKAL is a very good song... it is very important to have a female voice like that for a good song, isnt it?
Bogdana Chivas (auteur-compositeur interprète, USA, France):
Bisous à toi et à ton univers magique...
Bogdana
Daniel Borg (guitariste, auteur-compositeur, Suède):
I like your tunes much! Very personal touch!
Best wishes from Sweden! /Daniel

DEAR BELIEVERS,
DEAR FRIENDS
Time has come for telling you the truth: we have no 50K plan. A heavy project like The AIOIA Alien Songs Trilogy, which includes the production of three albums, a book (to begin with) and a european tour, stands upon a bigger investment plan. Don't worry, you will have an overview, just below, on what we call the AIOIA 150K plan.
But we have at first to show you exactly what you are purchasing when you believe, depending on the amount of your belief:
Believer with 1 part: you get the normal CD2 at the Sellaband conditions + your downloaded CD1. The CD2 will be available only two months after we hit 50K.
Believer with 3 parts: CD1 (physical) + CD2 in its « shellbook » (see below) + 2 normal CD2
Believer with 5 parts: CD1 + CD2 in its shellbook + CD3 (2009) + 4 normal CD2
Believer with 10 parts and over: CD1 + CD2 in its shellbook + CD3 + 9 normal CD2 + an over-clocking production contract with AIOIA Ltd (instead of IAMAI prod) + a publishing contract with AIOIA Ltd (instead of OEMIIMUSIC) to share the Publishing Rights for years from the CD2.
Believer with 50 parts and over: a special contract to get ROIs from the production and the publishing of the CD1, CD2, CD3, Cdn..., or the opportunity to become a member of AIOIA Ltd according to the amount of your investment.
PS: the AIOIA Ltd business-plan will be available only for our believers over 50 parts and will be sent by mail.
Very important: as far as our relations are increasing in quality and in quantity by the day, we have decided to publish today a simple overview on our 150K plan, to avoid writing details in the marble. We're working hard at every point of the Postproduction to improve our project.
AIOIA Newsletter: if you want to receive the AIOIA Newsletter, feel free to send us your email address by a Personal Message.
AIOIA 150K plan
« a simple overview »
"SellaConcept to SellaMusic to SellaBand to SellaMusic to SellaConcept..."
Well, here we are, at 25K and as I promised, I am pleased to present our 150K plan. As a lot of concerned believers among you have expected, it is a huge enterprise-like plan wich will be developed in three times and three sections: short term (2008), medium term (2009) and long term (2010 and after).
To make things be easier to get into, I am going to give you details about the short term plan with a following overview about the two other terms, to be detailed at 30K (medium term and half-invest step) and at 40K (long term and benefit-development step).
AIOIA 150K short term plan (full invest step)
The former 50K
When AIOIA entered Sellaband, we had already invested 50K (including the manufacturing and the mechanical rights to come) to create the first album (Ummo Uxa), concept-story, music, lyrics, recording, mix, mastering in a famous professional studio, Cargo, in Montreuil, France. This is the album you have downloaded in its mP3 version and which already exists as a high-quality CD (master). We could have started the sales six months ago, but we have chosen to sell CD1 and CD2 as a double album.
Your Sellaband 50K
Thanks to the help from our believers, we are going to produce – it is our ambition – the second album of the AIOIA Alien Songs Trilogy with its book and at least one videoclip (Crop-Circles) to have worldwide airplays and to welcome visitors to the upcoming AIOIA website. Generally, the CD includes a booklet with pictures, lyrics and sometimes a short documentary about the members of the band, the making of, aso. In the case of this second AIOIA album, the CD is included into a shellbook. The contents of this book will be kept secret until you receive it.
The AIOIA Ltd further 50K
Once at 50K on the Sellaband ladder, the band AIOIA will be turned into a real enterprise, with a capital of 50K and an investment plan of 350K on three years, to be able to work as a trade company and to take care of their believers during and after the two years of the Sellaband exploitation. These believers will have ROIs from the three former Cds of the trilogy and from all the derived produces which AIOIA Ltd is going to put on the market: new records, books, comic strips, DVD, movies, licensed devices, games, toys, T-shirts and other furnitures... guess what a band who creates the first « perfume concerto » can do at their shows... selling perfumes? A scent-player? Imagine that you can recall your feelings at a show even « ten years after » with a simple fragrance.
Sell a Concept
By selling a whole story like « Ummo Uxa » in which a lot of earthling characters are seeking the secret of our origins with « a little help » from Aliens, making amazing discoveries deep into the underground of the Earth and of some other planets from our solar system, we know we can touch a wide number of sci-fi fans. Further on, if this story is presented as a gamebook without being properly one, that is to say if this story is a whole puzzled-concept-object including enigmas, clues and keys to make one's own quest for our origins and mankind's destiny, all this set upon the actual political, strategic and ecologic background, if the short stories or the video-clips as well, once put together make a kind of a great novel or movie, this object is no more a cultural object but a mirror-image of the multiple reality which is our daily moving environment. Therefore, finding out the keys to a better understanding of the story can help everyone to get new ideas about the surrounding world. A quest for the unbelievable roots which have been hidden for Ages.
Another most important point: each story looks like a complete story, with an end, but once put together, the successive stories will build a kinda greater no-ending story, as in a quest. When you're in a quest, all what you find on the road is much more interesting that what you can find at the end.
So, as long as the author will be alive, this story will not be ended. And... who knows? Even after, someone could give a new life to this story, if the Earth is not dead before.
Further on, besides this fictional concept, some books about the explored subjects in the AIOIA trilogy, will be available at a club-price in the general AIOIA catalog, for instance « Presence », a book by Denis Roger Denocla about UFOs, Crop Circles and exocivilisations, which has been already half translated in English.
Sell a Music
Bringing sci-fi fans to the AIOIA music may be not as obvious as it seems. So, to impact the buzz effect of the stories, they will be told by actors on a few special Cds on a musical background, leading to a listen to the linking song. A few FM radios in France have already asked AIOIA to have these stories airplayed on their channel. Several magazines will inform about the AIOIA music and concept, and we're going to make several videoclips to be displayed on YouTube, DailyMotion and a lot of friendly websites, including the upcoming AIOIA website.
During this summer, the band AIOIA will be turned into a Ltd for trade purposes.
Since the 1st of September, AIOIA Ltd will have a manager assistant to work on tours with a local tour manager in every country where AIOIA will perform.
Three months before the first tour, a local press attaché will be employed as a free-lance to help AIOIA have a wide press communication in the visited country (or countries).
The first album, which doesn't go under any contract with Sellaband will be distributed worldwide by several distributors. This can bring more new believers on Sellaband to buy the CD2 in its shellbook.
Sell a Band
Starting at the begining of Spring 2009, the European AIOIA Alien Tour, a very special « Five Senses Surround » will be performed indoor, plus some different shows at a few festivals outdoor.
Of course, our team will not forget to sell the Cds, starting with those who belong to our believers, if they haven't been sold before...
This project for a EU AIOIA Alien Tour will be detailed later, as it will be incorporated in the AIOIA Ltd business-plan. Obviously, this project stands upon an « after 150K budget » and upon a few joint-ventures which we are already working on.
SellaConcept, SellaMusic...
After this first stage of the AIOIA Alien Songs trilogy and if things are going the way we expect, there will be another trilogy, including three new Cds. And a worldwide tour.
If you have any question, come and meet us at the Forum, « About the Music » topics, thread: The AIOIA 150K plan.

A few short stories (in French): after the lyrics.
AIOIA
My band of the week
by Simon McMurdo
AIOIA grabbed my attention when they first joined. I saw their photo as i signed onto my page, and was quite interested. C-Leen, who was primarily apparent in the picture made me believe that the band were a soul or gospel act- and i just had to tell my friend Karin, since she's a huge fan of that type of music!
But i was certainly surprised when i clicked play, and heard the most atmospheric, ambient music i had heard in quite some time! The beautiful build up of 'The Enoch Syndrom' was the first sound that drew me in. The gorgeous backdrop of synths were amazingly arranged, and the soulful vocals added a dramatic sense of uniqueness.
However, as the song continued and reached its epic crescendo, i was taken aback. The sound had complexed so delicately and now sounded absolutely bombastic- i knew that this was going to be a favorite of mine.
I fully support AIOIA for this reason, but also for the other amazing tracks they have on offer. We all have our favorites, and its obvious that mine is 'The Enoch Sydnrom' but i can truthfully say that every song on offer is individual, atmospheric and alluring to addictive effect.
Furthermore, i have received nothing but kindness from every message i received of Alex, and i am truly blessed to know him- and can't express enough how happy i am to have been so kindly treated by him!
AIOIA are certainly not for everyone- their complex song structures make it hard to crack the shell- but there's definitely something exciting and amazing inside- so what have you got to lose?!
If you believe, you can receive their amazing debut album 'Ummo Uxa' for free!
The album opens with 'Hello Brother', which acts as a sort of opener- it introduces each of the instruments, and is coated with solo's, as well as the spooky repetition of the phrase 'Hello Brother'. It introduces you to AIOIA, and what they are about...
'Ummo Oemii In Madrid' is a trip-hop styled experience that has beautiful instrumentation- very different to the other tracks on the album. The lyrics offer something totally different- an introduction to the story AIOIA convey with every track they produce. The vocals, courtesy of Nadj M'Rini Hendriks especially shine with this type of backing- a perfect platform for her to broadcast her delicate yet powerful skills.
'The Whales From Atlantis' is one of the most epic tracks on 'Ummo Uxa', welcoming the vocals of Stéphane Sarrazin that perfectly compliment the unique backdrop of poppy effects, and rocky guitar licks. Without a doubt, 'The Whales From Atlantis' is one of the most catchiest tracks on the album, and one of the strongest tracks ever written by a Sellaband artist, in my opinion. Powerful, heartfelt and passionate- the track truly sums up AIOIA and their outlook.
The aforementioned track 'The Enoch Syndrom' is an ambient, lulling symphony that is lead by Nadj once again- with an epic sound that slowly draws to a powerful crescendo.
'Babel Recall' draws a close to th first half of the album. It reminds me a lot of Arjen Lucassen's Ayreon project, due to its original and progressive feel. It opens with an atmospheric vibe, that is soon broken by the guitars and strings that powerfully push the song towards its finish.
A song that reminds me of Sellaband's Radio Orange is the opening of the experimental 'Inuxa U Beach'. The sound grows, as with many AIOIA tracks, and becomes more interesting and unique as the minutes pass by.
'The Caves Of Bayan Kara-Ula': The next track opens with a very interesting and mysterious introduction. The female vocals lead into the chorus, when Stéphane accompanies to create a perfectly serene, yet erotic feel, with whispers and distorted sounds, interrupted by crashing guitars and drums. The chaotic feel successfully leads into another rendition of the dual-vocals, and into another powerful close.
As 'Ummo Uxa' continues, the interestingly titled 'Ministamia' begin with a chanty vocal line, that is joined by an arabian-styled string segment. Once again, AIOIA has the backdrop instrumentation build up to a magnificent crescendo. Only to fall again to a contemporary chill-out segment. One of the most powerful tracks, once again provided by the newest and freshest Sellaband talents.
'Abydos Gates' provides a unique forging of Techno beats and effects, with oriental strings and percussion. It's potentially one of the most experimental songs on offer here.
The penultimate track- 'Groom Lake Secrets' is one of the most accessible. It is forged around a trip-hop sound, that adds a new element to AIOIA's music. The strong backing is one of the most driving forces on the whole album- and is only strengthened by the passionate and skilled vocals of Stéphane.
The albums final track is its calmest- the acoustic-lead 'Tikal Uewa' which leaves the AIOIA narrative open for future releases. Musically, the track is a mid paced song that leaves a lasting impression on all of AIOIA's listeners.
AIOIA have so much to offer, to Sellaband and to the life after 50K- so believe and the story will continue...!

The winners are, under alphabetic order: Berry (Raasdorp), Colin Acton, Douwe (for his awesome global work), Ed The Cheesehead, Mark Adelsberger, Pacarina and Shinjite-Iru. Spotlights:
Trans-Form-Action loves Artjan:
"Out of this world, yet with enough common ground to touch human souls. Serious about making a trilogy of off planet music and as clever in marketing and part-selling as in composition and performance. The trilogy may well become a "classic" of our time like CSNY's "4 way street" or the Beatles "white double". Get on board this one to be part of something special. Laissez faire, laissez passer on their road to 50K and studio. At the speed they've been going they will make the studio in August at the latest."
Raasdorp (Berry):
"This is a band with a mission. They want to let us take a distance from our daily life and look at ourselves through the eyes of friendly alien visitors to see how we are treating our precious planet.
All this is told in beatiful pop/progressive rock-compositions, played by talented musicians and 3 great singers which brings in lots of variety.
The first cd is already available for free (mp3) for all believers. The whole story of this project is planned to be told on a triple concept-album. The ambition of AIOIA is to this within the 50K budget.Boarding now...buy a part!"

Ed the Cheesehead
Talent Music .... 3 singers .... it sounds sometimes like a rock-opera ..... a lot of styles ... Working hard .... nice contact with believers ... listening to their music!!! They will definitely makes the 50 K. If you don not like the music of AIOIA ..... you have CHEESE in your EARS !!!!!
PBSAM:
"Super bon!!!
The Mega SAB Song Festival:
"Rock-opera quality. Powerfull well blended voices and good instrumental lines and backing. Will make a great concept-album for us that may well become a "classic" in our days. And for those who want to make money: these people are clever in marketing strategy and networking as well. They'll make shure they will be noticed and get their music sold. Let your ears and pockets both have a great time with AIOIA. I know mine will."
Shinjite-Iru:
The Cute Rabbits are gone Our teeth are sharper now:
"Music with a huge concept behind it. A trilogy plan and a world tour no less. And the music, concept, skills and perseverance of these artists will make this come true. Great singers, beautifull instrumentation, great stories. Not just another CD, but a comprehensive plan for a great live show with all kinds of extra's that will become a thrilling experience for all who will listen, see and smell the multilevel, multisense(ational) show with a message for all. Believers will be rewarded with heavenly experience and bliss. For only $10 everybody can be a part of this."

Angel’s TearsTry
To come along, my Angel
Look into their eyes
Try
Not to lose your time with more tears
Don’t cry
Help the kids open the eyes
And live, without fear
All that blood after your fall
Flows down by your tears
All that blood, drops of life
Try
To kiss the sky my Angel
Time is over now
Let me be your saviour
Stand till I
Give you all my love
Kiss you cause you’re
Hopeless, damned, down
Try
To enlighten their eyes
Give them a sunshine
Try
To give kids a smile
From your face
Let the wind enter their eyes
And blow all their fears
All that blood after your fall

All that blood, drops

Short stories (in French, gonna be translated at 25K):
UR IYAYEDO
« Oui, et comment dit-on en ummite ? »
« UEWA », articule lentement Jorge Guzmao.
« Effrayant, mon ami, effrayant… »
« Douze millions d’années, professeur, douze putains de millions d’années. »

L’Orbe d’Isis (The Orb of Isis)
« Tu ne m’as toujours pas dit comment tu l’as eue…

Listen to one song from AIOIA and I guarantee you will have the same thought I did: "These guys are really good! The production is as flawless and the performance! They don't need to hit $50k, they can make great records on their own!" To the contrary. These cats DESERVE to make a pro record. They've earned it. |
