Can't think for the moment but I am open to suggestions !
Instruments
Acoustic Guitar and lead vocals
Musical Style
Just
good songs (hopefully !) without too many effects which I feel can
cheapen the melody.Eg I`m not just gonna drop a hip hop drum beat/rap
in just to make it sound commercial or in an attempt to appeal to a
wider audience.

Bona Vacantia...... listen to some more of my material on my album Bona Vacantia
All fellow songwriters now have a great chance (level playing field) to have their own album produced at no expense if enough of your fans love your material please go to

The Sellaband site explains it better than me and there's no catch/scam etc EXCEPT that enough people have to "believe"

Music MUST remain live where possible real music dies everytime a group/artist perform with backing tapes which is simply fraudulent.

Howdy!
Just wanted to pop in and give you a heads up on Sommersby's October Competition!
If you haven't already heard, the competition (hot on the heels of his recent neck-in-neck September fiesta) will offer 20 parts for the winner and is open to all artists that have between $9999 and $0 in budget.
Please check the forum for updates on contest rules and regs….starts 25 October!
This is a great opportunity for you. Campaign with the believers to let them know you'd like to be nominated and encourage them to vote for you when the time comes.
Of course, if you'd like to, or you know someone who would like to, donate parts for the prizes in the Competition, just send (or have them send) Sommersby the details under a message marked “October Donation."
Hope you join in on the fun and GOOD LUCK TO YOU!!!!

Hey Alan,
First I think you were asking about the guitar I'm playing in one of my pics - it's not a Charvel - it's a mid 1984 Guild Model S280 w/ a single EMG pick-up and Kahler tune-o-matic / tremelo tailpiece.
Just wanted to let you know that "The Other Side" is on fo the songs featured in this week's Hogdaddee's "Farm Fresh Tunes" playlist at:

Alan,
Nice- very nice! 3 good songs but for me it's a toss up between the "World's at Your Feet" and "The Other Side" as favorites. Wish-listed so please feel free to spam me or harass me if I don't get back soon.
BTW: since you asked in your bio - you remind me of the "Right Down the Line" - "Baker Street" Gerry Rafferty not necessarily the "Stuck In the Middle With You" (Stealers Wheel) Gerry Rafferty.

Hi Alan,
I've added you to my wishlist, I won't have any parts available until about 4 weeks from now though.
Thanks
Shane
