I have to say that I'm a little bit sad... I'm watching my believers fly away, my parts going down week by week... no one's asking me anything, no one's contacting me... just a click and that's it...
I've got some personal problems at the moment and I don't have money (and it means no internet at home)... but I don't want to bother you with that... the only thing is that: IF YOU ARE A BELIEVER WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO IS TO BELIEVE not to "invest" money and wait and see if something happens...
I knew that... where there's money involved that's the way it goes...
sorry about that but I thought I had to say something...
thank you

This is alexira and this is my story so far
written by the mighty a. halka...
I think alexira is a mix between three or four different personalities and so hard to describe, I can only try to tell you something I know about him...
The first gig he ever played was on the 29th of August 1989 (so guess how old he is), with a band called “Alexira & Le Maniglie†(The Handles...).
After nearly four years of dead-end gigs in Italy they decided to split up but alexira was not beaten. He founded a new band called “Souze†back in 1994, less distortion and more upbeat. They played a lot of gigs and went down well in Rome but, just the day before a Producer was about to see their latest live performance, problems between band members came to the surface, and they ended up breaking up instead...
We now know that alexira is a strange entity, never happy with himself and constantly in search of the right music and the right people... but at the time it just looked like a big and awful mistake...
So in 2000 he found a new dream to dream: “Orange Cashâ€, a new and cool band in which he could not only sing and write in English, but also share the stage with some of his best friends. They played far less gigs but recorded a good pop-rock album that is still available but unfortunately was not distributed by any major companies. Actually the band never split up and, now that I think about it, alexira is still the guitarist and co-singer...
Anyway, from 2002 he realised that maybe going solo was the best option and decided to record and produce some of the songs that he has never stopped writing, he did this alone from a makeshift studio in his own house. It’s the stuff that you can find on the website, from the ostentatious first LP called “Come Se Non Fosse Niente†to the electronic pieces, and the more developed 2004 EP...
In January 2005 he decided to bring his music to London. After a year and an half with a band called “Semaphore†(receiving a good response from both fans and critics) he left and decided to continue with his solo career, feeling the need to sing and play his own songs...
He’s currently working on a new project. He recorded a demo (again, independently) and, while looking for musicians, he plays acoustic sets in different London venues.
Hope you enjoy his music...
Cheers…

Hi! I have taken back the part in you but I promise that when you're back on SAB for real, I'll put it back in immediately. Good luck, Li
Hi Alexira, are you still there? Or have you lost faith in SAB. I know that SAB is hard work, and that you need to spend time on it on a regular basis, it's the nature of the beast ;-). I love your songs, but it's of no use to anyone to let 10 bucks go stale in one artist when this artist can't or isn't active. It's not that 10 dollars means nothing to me, it does mean enough for me to let it roll, and inactivity, for whatever reason, just stops the movement. Sad but true ... Let me know! Li
Hi Alexira HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope you have a wonderful 2008 :) I thought you might be interested in supporting me - I am very lucky to now be in the final 10 for the Orchard Live Competition. Howdy! Just wanted to pop in and give you a heads up on Sommersby's October Competition! If you haven't already heard, the competition (hot on the heels of his recent neck-in-neck September fiesta) will offer 20 parts for the winner and is open to all artists that have $9999 or less in budget on 25 October. This is a great opportunity for you. Let all your believers know you'd like to be nominated and encourage them to vote for you when the time comes. Of course, if you'd like to, or you know someone who would like to, donate parts for the prizes in the Competition, just send (or have them send) Sommersby the details under a message marked “October Donation." Hope you join in on the fun and GOOD LUCK TO YOU!!!!
Hey Alexira, are you still around?
