Thanks to Richard Markahm, I just learned that I was one of "Adam's Apples"! To read the review, please go to: http://www.sellaband.com/tribune/edition71/
Here is my official bio:
Ali Weiss, a Marin County native, began singing at age 8 – with Abba records in the living room, memorizing the Evita soundtrack and playing Cha Cha in the school musical, Grease. After singing in her first band at age 18, she took her first guitar class and later taught herself piano. Now, after a decade of dedicating herself to her musical path, she emerges as a unique singer/songwriter with the guts to tell her stories of love, loss and hope with a balanced mix of strength and vulnerability.
Ali has performed both solo and with bands at famous venues such as The Fillmore, The Sweetwater, The Viper Room, The Mint, and Slims. Ali’s honest lyrics and soulful melodies are consistent and dynamic on all of her recordings.
The natural command Ali has of her performance ensures a focused attention from every audience member to fully embrace her powerful, soaring voice and deep, dark eyes. Ali’s confidence on the stage allows her to share intimate experiences through her songs as if she’s talking with an old friend, “Count the ways that I keep from crying, but I just can’t count on you”.
One thing we can count on is that this gutsy musician is on a straight path rich in experiences that will continue to fuel her never-ending passion to write songs we all can relate to.
"I can’t help myself from singing
Even if I don’t have the words
Go on ahead and stop my breathing
When my voice no longer can be heard"
- Ali Weiss - "Can't Help Myself"

You are very welcome! I am disappointed you decided to take down your youtube video. I feel it gives people a chance to see your personality. Hopefully, others on sellaband will soon see the talent I see in you. Best Wishes.

No problem Ali - hope it brings more support your way. Incidentally I called Adam a producer - actually I believe he is an expert in A&R - sorry Adam.

Aha - Ali you need to start reading the "Tribune"! There's a lot of good stuff in it.
It's the site's "virtual newspaper" and you get to it by clicking on the red "News" button at the top of any page. You can scroll back through all the previous editions as well to catch up on what has happened ever since the site began.
For the past several months, producer Adam Sieff has featured his top picks of the week's new artists as "Adam's Apples". It's an honour to get one of those spots!
Also note Lucretia (influential believer) has included one of your songs in her "Unnoticed gems" Club Playlist here.

Ali - belated congrats on being selected for "Adams Apples" in last week's Tribune. I've only just got round to it. Looks like Adam has good taste too.
