The Wreckers Prayer uploaded Sunday Feb 10th
"GERNIKA" is 8 minutes long and exceeded the upload file limit in it's original mp3 form so I have had to reduce the sound quality specially for Sellaband unfortunately. You can read all about the background to the song including lyrics and chords and download the 12Mb file from Gernika at Andy Roberts music
I started to play guitar when I was very young and used to perform in the street as well as in pubs and clubs for a while. A couple of years ago I decided I really wanted to make an album and sat down to write a whole bunch of new songs. The lyrics are all there, but I need your support and inspiration to get the music laid down. I think SellAband is a great idea, let's see how far we can go with it :-)

Just wanted to pop in and give you a heads up on Sommersby's October Competition!
If you haven't already heard, the competition (hot on the heels of his recent neck-in-neck September fiesta) will offer 20 parts for the winner and is open to all artists that have between $9999 and $0 in budget.
Please check the forum for updates on contest rules and regs….starts 25 October!
This is a great opportunity for you. Campaign with the believers to let them know you'd like to be nominated and encourage them to vote for you when the time comes.
Of course, if you'd like to, or you know someone who would like to, donate parts for the prizes in the Competition, just send (or have them send) Sommersby the details under a message marked “October Donation."

WOW! YOUR MUSIC IS AMAZING!!! I love your songwriting, it is beautiful. I am enthralled with Gernika! I have put a video on my page for you, called Morning News, that I think you would take a liking to. Thanks for making such awesome music. I can't wait for you to record your SEllaband CD!!!!! Hi Andy. I listened to Gernika through DARnet where the song sounds much better, it is a quality version there. I think you might find me a bit stupid now but I had never heard of Gernika and didn't know that much about the internationale. Thanks for educating me :)
Last year I came through the Basque region as I was walking the road to Santiago.
To be honest I listened to Gernika several times and discovering so much in it...
