about "For you"
this song was composed in usa but lyrics and music came together in a sunny afternoon in france watching our niece jumping into her little plastic swimming pool. But the song is in fact about jeff Buckley who drowned during an evening swim in 1997. I really like to play this song.
about "Virginia"
this song was written on the side of the road in a hot summer trip to texas.
I feel that the beginning of the song is a little blurry but it become better after few verses,. its like when you open the door in a hot Virginia highway stop area, the heat knock in ur head and make you feel like a mosquito in a freezer, NUMB.............. It was recorded with an electric guitar and we dont have any accoustic recordings of this song.
yeah the third believer, I know the past weeks i let sellaband work alone and nothing came so i have to work more and make Aneth look better,thanks

hmmm... I hear dissonance... and some sweetness... which cries for originality. But it is my personal opinion that the best artists can make the simple tunes move us in a new way... as well as take us to something completely new. What I'm trying to say is this: I think you need to put one song on sellaband that has some good strong chord progressions (basic major, minor, 7th chords etc), something that all the normal people are used to, and something which the lead singer can use to pierce our hearts (I hear that potential in her voice). If you had one 'normal' song, it would immediately expand your range of musical creation in the ears of your listeners, and get you that much more support. But what I hear is pretty good so far. I'll keep an ear out for you Aneth. Break a chord!

I think you've got something special. I'm not buying parts at the moment and my wishlist is far too long to really please you by adding you. You wouldn't be the first I would by parts in, when that becomes possible for me again. But be sure I'll keep track of you and what you do over here on SAB.
