Biography

Angel was born in Saint Louis, Missouri USA on March 5, 1982. She is the youngest of 3 siblings. When she was still a baby the family moved to Los Angeles, California, where they lived for 12 years.

From early childhood Angel was always creative and active, involved in dance school, sports teams and singing in the choir.

At the age of 12, the family moved to Denmark due to her father's job.

A year later her parents sent Angel to Mexico to study and perfect her Spanish. It was a very important move for Angel. During her 2 and a half years there she got in touch with her Latin roots, got more involved in singing and dancing. She quickly was picked to represent her school in state singing contests.

In 1998 Angel returned to Denmark to start high school and was already writing her own material and performing at school events. At the age of 15 she began working in a studio with producers recording her first original material as a singer/rapper.

After high school she underwent an intensive professional dance education in contemporary dance at Stepz Dance Studio in Copenhagen. Angel felt it was important to be able to command the stage, be an all-round performer and gain more experience. She worked and lived as professional dancer for several years, being back-up dancer for many well-known Danish artists, making videos and shows, etc.

In 2006 she completed a soloist education in the Complete Vocal Academy lead by the eminent vocal coach Cathrine Sadolin.

2007 was a year of intense exploration, experimenting with many styles, working with various producers and songwriters, looking for her own signature sound.

Now in 2008, Angel feels that this long journey of learning, trial and error have brought her to a point where she is more than ready to get out there and rock the pop scene. She knows what it takes, and has it.
