About me
Once I dreamed of making a living as a guitarist. Now I dream of having time to play the guitar.
My advice: want to be a musician, love your music, write it as if it is for your own pure pleasure...but don't want to be famous. It might come anyway, but don't seek it for its own sake.
My own musical interests (include lounge, jazz, ambient and elvis costello. When not listening to my Sellaband favourite, Travellers, I put on Hotel Costes, Buddha Bar, Cafe del Mar, Oakenfold and bebop CDs (Coltrane, Lee Morgan, Hank Mobley and Art Pepper mostly).

My Blog

Sitting in Geneva listening to the pouring rain with my favourite SAB band, Travellers playing as ever in the background. Have just taken my belief up a little higher. I am SO convinced that the wonderful Rui Serra, the gentle soul behind Travellers is going to make it. A lovely guy, clear uncluttered music.... superb!
6 June 2007
After a concerted attempt, Travellers are at number 7 in the Sellaband charts. What's more RSerra - the inspiration behind Sellaband - will be featured in the UK Guardian newspaper this weekend (9 June) following a little judicious PR..
9 June 2007
And the article's out... a huge piece that is on the front page of the Guardian's money section. Looks like the biggest bit of UK PR so far... It has a note of cynicism at the end but it does raise the profile of Travellers. Hope it brings in the believers Rui!

I am proud to be the biggest Travellers believer but I'm now following his fate onto Amiestreet where I think he will stand more chance given that he is a soundscape artist, rather than a typical singer songwriter. As per my post on Travellers profile some time back, I'm reducing my parts in response to his request. Good luck Rui - you deserve huge success, even if it doesn't happen here. Ade | ||||||

Adam's Apples
On The Fly
Experienced New Yorkers playing melodic and powerful classic-inspired rock with rich vocal harmonies - think Boston for the millennials. Going to be massive.

A big warm hello!
and just a note to tell you that I have a new song I would love you to hear. It is a crazy, revved up remix of my serene "Angel" and completely different from the original. It is totally unusual for me too - like a happy accident really, but very sensuous with exotic notes of the orient and I really wanted to share it here. It will add spice to a great night out on the town or make you want to dance with someone real close. Or at least that's what it makes me feel, so I thought I'd play it for you. It was born out of too many late nights of passionate brainstorming in the studio. So please listen for yourself and let me know what you think. if you like it jump on board and i will give you the song to have for your own '-)
peace, love and music
