17th of August: Sellabration the day-after!

So proud, so impressed, so happy, so ..........tired.

It was the best night in Sellaband's history, as far as I can see.
Thanks everyone for all the kind words and looking forward to the next plan!

Just a couple of days and we have a birthday party. A nice big birthday party. In between booking hotels, drafting itineraries and make sure publicity is secured, we're counting the hours for tonight's listening session! How exciting this all is.

Never could have imagine that it would be such a great fun to work for Sellaband. It's diverse and creative, as well as having big laughs here at the HQ during lunchtime.

Anyway nice to see you all again next week and let's make a hell of a party!

So now it’s my time to write about London Calling.

What a great overwhelming experience was that! It’s unbelievable what Sellaband can do and create. I was so impressed by the amount of different people. All countries, all characters, all languages, all kind of styles of people with one thing in common: Sellaband. I couldn’t imagine it upfront.

The other thing which surprised me so is that I’ve never had so much compliments, thank you-s etc.etc. from artists and believers as I received in my whole career in the musicindustry J

Al though it was a tough job sometimes, it was a great pleasure to be a part of this whole event.

Don’t ask me who’s performance I think was the best, cause I was the one standing at the door (3 floors down) almost all night, bummer but hey that’s the job.

Up to the next party: Concert At The Sea!

Friday I heard a bit of the work of Nemesea. Wow, you believers out there, the album will be FANTASTIC!

Tony does an amazing job with Manda's vocals (not needed, cause she can sing so easily) but he really knows how to get everything out of her. Every note and every emotion.

Can't wait to hear the rest!

Tomorrow the first official Promotion Day for Sellaband will happen. And to do it special, NEMESEA is linked to that. Together with some main press and radio we will visit them in the studio at Groningen. All this outlets will do interviews with NEMESEA aswell as with Johan from Sellaband.

Exiciting isn't it? I'm curious to hear some of their new recorded tracks and also what kind of press coverage we'll get.

If your a Dutch believer check 3FM tomorrow after 1pm, a reportage will be broadcasted in their news.

How is it possible that on my second day at Sellaband I've spend more money then I've earned yet?

Of course the Sellaband virus caught me and I've just invested money in Trail and Wetwerks. How quick can things role.

So far I'm working on the setting up the production of the big London Calling happening.

Till now things are lovely here and I'm really pleased that my friends Johan and Dagmar gave me the opportunity to join this weird but nicely disturbed ambiance at the SAB headquarters!
