About me
There are many of us for whom music is an irreplaceable part of life We rely on it to take us out of sadness, pressures of poverty, youth, age, etc Mixed with alcohol it seems to be a remedy for just about anything Be it a rapid fire of notes exploding in catharsis all over the major key or an obsessive marathon of soul-searching sounds crawling around minor it all appears somehow more solid and present in our lives than materials something we can always address and hold on too At its best music connects us to a feeling as large as the whole goddamn universe itself...
With our music, and music that we popularize, we try to reach out and remind people that when taken out of the hands of a parasite, music is still a great lead into a democratic atmosphere of chaos where moments of great freedom and where great friends could be found And that in the world of rapidly dissolving authentic cultures, soul-searching through the music is something that connects you with the most authentic thing there is, your savage heart.

A good friend, a long long time ago, did a very clever thing.
She displayed a list of her favourite "all time" non Sellaband artists on her profile in order to invite artists to entice. In those long gone days I thought "Why?"
In those days I could kind of "check out" in sequence what was new on Sellaband. And in those days this was good and fruitful. I guess those days are gone.
There is a tsunami of great music flooding in, and I can't keep up!!!
So I am going to publish my all time favourite top ten (liable to change dependant on mood and sobriety) as an invitation to any artists that feel that they can stiimulate my jaded musical taste buds and invite belief.

Daniel Ward-Murphy supports Kane SoleNothing much to say about Daniel.... he's quiet, reserved......confident about his art........talented in a totally unprecocious way.....likes cello.......likes both red and white wine......puts humanity into his music and puts music into humanity....deep, slightly dark and deft with intellect.....not very talll......slurs when drunk......jam packed full of the two most joyous elements of existence - Trust and Passion......a savage heart in the woolly comfort of an English Gentleman's chest......in short...fucking brilliant !!!!
