Well, I just recently spent an hour in the presence of Her Majesty The Queen and His Royal Highness The Duke Of Edinburgh.
I am happy to report that they were in excellent health and fine spirits even though the day was miserably cold.
They acknowledged that Sheet Metal has an infinite amount of contribution to make to society.
Somehow, though, they may have thought I was a scrap merchant...

People sometimes get concerned that my methods leave something to be desired.
I often deal with children in my work and one teacher of a class of 7-year-olds was a little put out at my descriptions of what a 4-inch anti-aircraft gun was capable of and was eager to change the subject. (Guns are designed for pretty much one thing so what was her problem?)
So she then began to tell the children that the Royal Navy had played an active part in the Falklands War, "...and the Falklands are the southern-most point of the British Isles," she said.
"Possibly the southern-most point of the British Empire," I corrected her, but was met with a blank stare.
I think I won that one.
Plus, one young Irish teacher struck a pose for a photograph the other day after shamelessly flirting with me in front of her class. Obviously I can't name her but I would just like to say to her, "Thank you! You made my day!"
