About me

Hi,

Originally from Blackburn, Lancashire, England. Emigrated to Canada as a teenager.  I live on Canada's West Coast but have lived on the East Coast and in several places in between.  I even spent a week and a half in the Arctic one winter, first in a tent, then an igloo, then a snow cave.  Temperatures reached minus 58 celcius one night (-75 fahrenheit).  That hurt!  The snow cave was the most comfortable.

Sellaband.  I first heard about it in February 2008. Became a believer in  other artists but plan to sign on as an artist too when my own songs are recorded to a quality suitable for submission.  I've been listening to other artists and am impressed with the variety, talent and quality of musicians out there.  My compliments to all of you.  You set the bar very high.

Ellie Williams was the first Sellaband artist I listened to.  I loved her sound but being new to Sellaband, I delayed signing on as a believer.  Ellie reached $50,000 in 50 days and I missed the boat!  If you're new to this, take my advice: if you like a particular artist, don't wait to become a believer.  (PS. Ellie, if you read this, congratulations!!!  I'll buy your CD when it's available)

On a different note (pardon the pun), almost everyone's else's computer runs on high-speed internet these days except mine.  I'm still stuck with dial-up.  It's not because I'm too cheap to pay for high-speed, but rather because the phone company and cable companies are too cheap to provide the service this far up the mountain I live on.  Unfortunately, large size downloads take time.  So if you invite me to listen to your music, I probably will, but please be patient if I don't respond to you right away.  I will eventually reply.

Clive

ArtistJESS KING

Jess King is an artist you should give a listen to.  Try her song "Your Deep Dark Eyes". It has a rich, moody feel similar to Sara McLaughlin yet Jess has a style all her own.  Jess' songs should be playing on the radio. With this calibre of music, I have no doubt they eventually will be.  Jess King is going places!

Hello Clive,
"No Escape" is my new song on my profile,
This one is much more Acoustic-Pop- Mainstream style.
The song talks about thoughts of escaping in this world,
And then realizing that there's no place left to escape to.
Enjoy!

Hello Clive and welcome to unrestrained human race…
You are invited to listen to my songs that are based on my concept called "Unrestrained Human Race". This concept talks about many issues of our society. On my palyer you can find the title song that describes in general the bad side of the human race, then I try to compare it with a better behavior in my song "harmless animals".
My 3rd song here "Family Hierarchy" describes some power games between parents and their children.

Have a great rockin' day!
