About me

I am a long time resident of an online virtual world called Second Life. I believe it is currently the new independent music frontier as a lot of artists have come to this world to promote their music to an international audience and be part of a healthy and booming music community. I found this website while following links from an SL musician.

I love music, having been classically trained in piano but lacked the talent to go pro. Hence I live vicariously through the talents of others :) In Second Life I am able to be a part of this exciting art albiet in a very small way, helping to provide a safe and friendly venue for independent musicians to perform and promote their work.

This venue is called the Vibe and we aim to eventually be a bridge to help independent artists promote their music in world. If you wish to know more, please write to the.vibe.sl@gmail.com for more information about Second Life and the musical community there. I am only interested in artists who wish to find themselves an audience in Second Life so please do not PM me unless you wish to talk about performing in SL in more detail.

I have been working closely with Marijke to bring her music into SL. She's wonderful and bubbly and very talented. She has also been amazingly quick to learn the ins and out of this virtual world and was streaming by Day 3. I hope that by performing in SL she can sell more parts to reach her goal and raise awareness of her music.

A big warm hello!

and just a note to tell you that I have a new song I would love you to hear. It is a crazy, revved up remix of my serene "Angel" and completely different from the original. It is totally unusual for me too - like a happy accident really, but very sensuous with exotic notes of the orient and I really wanted to share it here. It will add spice to a great night out on the town or make you want to dance with someone real close. Or at least that's what it makes me feel, so I thought I'd play it for you. It was born out of too many late nights of passionate brainstorming in the studio. So please listen for yourself and let me know what you think. if you like it jump on board and i will give you the song to have for your own '-)
