Hello! I'm Stu or Mr. Stu or Capt. Stu (depending on which 'ship' I'm sailing).  I'm completely passionate about music and, as such, I'm heavily involved in the music industry and hold creative, business and educational roles.  Which means, I'm extremely busy most of the time.

Amongst my many roles...

Own and run Beliefspace Studio, which is a small project studio based around a Pro Tools rig.  I am a qualified Pro Tools HD 7 operator and am currently studying for my Expert level qualification.  The studio currently in a transition stage, as I finalise and build the new recording area and control room, more details here...

I also own and run a small, indie record label called Fiercely Independent Records or Fiercely Indie to our friends.  I have one artist signed at the moment a band called 'Elika'.  Their debut 'Trying Got Us Nowhere' is available now on very limited edition white vinyl.

I am a Digidesign Certified Instructor in Pro Tools HD 7 and I lecture on the BTEC, NCFE and Foundation Degree programmes at Deep Blue Sound.  Which is, actually, how I discovered SellaBand in the first place.  We hold a guest lecture event each year and, not one, but two of the Sellaband expert producers, Tony Platt and Hayden Bendall, have both had guest lecture spots here.

When I'm not recording or teaching I sometimes speed down hills on Dartmoor on a Mountain bike.  Or hike around Cornwall.  I have walked the entire Cornish section of the South West Way and plan to complete the remaining sections soon.
