With a very relaxed soft rock, pop and chilled out sound the most striking thing about Natalia Safran's music is it's quality. I don't just mean quality of her voice, I mean quality in everything you hear. From the composition through to the quality of the lyrics, the sampling and general production. It gives the impression of real professionalism and dedication to her chosen passion... Natalia has the talent and the dedication and she has the backing of a talented team behind her. A SAB album and further success is sure to follow soon then. | ||||||

Yes I guess you could say Cris Tanzi sounds like Tori Amos, and yes you could say her music also has a Bjork signature. However to be honest this would be doing Cris a disservice by making such comparisons. She is a superb vocalist in her own right with an intelligent and original sound that deserves to be labelled for what it is... Simply great music! | ||||||

When listening to Chapter 9 may I suggest first of all finding a day when you have absolutely bugger all to do that's gonna distract you from appreciating Chapter 9's sound... It's funny because it's the kind of David Gray/Bob Dylan sound that just washes over you when you listen, but that asks you to stop what you were doing and give it your total and complete concentration... It's like a good book then, except that Chapter 9 is still being written. | ||||||

180* Virvar are a Danish group with a sound similar to the likes of Massive Attack in that it's electronic post triphop with a dark edge. However as with any good artist Virvar of course have there own original style consisting of a slight arabic and rock flavour running through the middle of a sound which also features quality vocals. | ||||||

just a quick note to introduce myself and let you know that I am posting up one new song every day right now as part of my sellaband campaign. I am slowly but surely working my way towards my first $1000 of investment, but finding a few more believers along the way would certainly help things along!
I'd be grateful if you would find the time to pop along and listen to my songs; remember, each day will have something different to offer in the next few weeks!
Today's new song features a striking singer, Kristy Rhode, with a little country twang in the voice.
