About me
Like most of the people here I like music. Otherwise there would be no point in being here, would there ;).
Anyway, I like to hear alot of different kinds of music. Depending on the mood, situation, day-time, where I'm, ... starting from ambient to heavy-metal, latino, electronic, ska (!), classic, and so on.
And I like to "discover" new bands. And this is where sellaband kicks in. A close link between music-listeners and musicians. Which is, I think, a tremendous idea. It's kind of grass-root thingie.
I do really hope this idea will last for a while and will be successfull. So we can see alot more groups joining here :).

More a FYI then a blog really ;)
Likes: Active artists, who check their sites (frequently!), write blogs, answers either via messages or on the believers page when have being sponsored, showing some effort, supporting their believers (like sending a CD).
Dislikes: Spam in any flavour or taste ;). Okay, I can understand that sometimes you have to advertise yourself. But this sellaband-project is a kind of community and imo you just dont make yourself friends when you sent hundreds of people the very same message. As some others already wrote in their blogs/about me-section... if your music is great and I like it I'll get eventually to your site. Promised ;).
As much as I'd like to support all the bands which music/songs/tunes I like it is not possible for me. Unfortunatly. So, I've come to the conclusion for myself that I'll spend my parts on a few groups which are currently on the "My Parts" list. If they top the 50k the plan is to get to the "My Wish List" :). (... no rules without exceptions...).

The tracks are taking you away. Relaxing but not at all boring. Not at the first listening and not at the one hundreds. You just hear new things every time.
Released already 6 (!) albums! Which speaks of his professionality and seriousness.

Very nice tunes! If you like "Ambient/ World Fusion"-music you will most probably like this artist. And if you have not been into this yet, check him out! Not too tranquillizing. He got definitely his own style. My favourite title is "Coffee Shop And Belly Dancers". Interesting to hear how the arabic voices blend into the rythym. I got the "Driving Deserts" CD from him (thanks!). Each title sounds a bit different. Of course, there is a continuity in all the songs. But it's not repetitively at all. Really like a journey. Great CD! And he definitely deserves more attention here at sellaband ;). | ||||||

A big warm hello!
and just a note to tell you that I have a new song I would love you to hear. It is a crazy, revved up remix of my serene "Angel" and completely different from the original. It is totally unusual for me too - like a happy accident really, but very sensuous with exotic notes of the orient and I really wanted to share it here. It will add spice to a great night out on the town or make you want to dance with someone real close. Or at least that's what it makes me feel, so I thought I'd play it for you. It was born out of too many late nights of passionate brainstorming in the studio. So please listen for yourself and let me know what you think. if you like it jump on board and i will give you the song to have for your own '-)
