Gobsmacked! Here was I expecting something OK-ish. What I actually received far exceeded my expectations and is by far the best new CD I have listened to in a very very long time. More when I listen to it again. And again. And again!

The answer is enclosed in every single track of Ms. Mayhem's first record, that makes her soul increasingly uncovered for all of us. Caught in a web of sounds, the listener gets drunk with Mysti's voice and guitar, and her musicians' subtle, but never insinuating, instrumental outline.
