Holy smokes - these guys rock! The style is very different, but listening to Goodbye makes me think of Nils Lofgren or the early years of Neil Young. The intro to Broken Arrow almost fooled me into thinking the words should start with "Please allow me to introduce myself..." :-) But then of course it continues very differently while still touching on the occasional reference - very nicely done! | ||||||

Luna Assassins was one of the first bands I noticed on SellaBand and it's one that makes an instant impression of energy and lots of fire inside. Milkshake is one of those songs that will shake you up and it still doesn't get boring after 3 months - definitely a very good sign :-) | ||||||

I still remember the huge entrance these guys made here. What a furious start! But now that the waves have calmed a bit, I guess it's pretty clear that Radio Orange shines with good solid quality music more than anything else. It's funny how Mindreader initially was my least favorite song of any three that were posted - and over time it became this truly addictive piece that won't leave me alone anymore. Great work! Plus, I love the sense of humor in the videos. I wish there was a way to keep more than just one online. | ||||||

Man of Leisure 2 just instantly swiped me of my feet and made me take out the wallet to support this band. Between the almost insanely melodious lyrics and the simple modest music, this is one of the few pieces I've heard recently that left me wishing the song would continue for another 10 minutes. It's probably too tempting to compare Leopold with a band like Franz Ferdinand, but the parallels are definitely there and I think they have a bright future. | ||||||

My very first impression of this band was that I kind of liked the music, but it left me hanging in a state that said "what, this is all?" It took a while for me to realize that with their slightly minimalist style, the irreverent tone and the youthful freshness they are bringing something that I missed from popular music since the days of the Stranglers and the Ramones. If this is hard to categorize in the themes of mainstream music, So What! | ||||||

T-ka was one of my earliest picks after signing up. I instantly liked her mellow yet pronounced Blues and Jazz tunes. Interestingly, I always thought of this as more of a niche style, but watching her progress for a few months now, I have to say this is really an impressively quick and steady rise - all attributable to T-ka's hard work in getting people interested in her music and maybe a little bit to Sellaband's credit for supporting diversity. I'm looking forward to see her reach 50k very soon! | ||||||
