Lemon Groove_

A very very part time musician myself, I enjoy seeing other musicians live the dream. Almost 20 have made it to recording (and beyond!). I'm proud of Second Person, Lily Vasquez, T-KA and all others!

For me, making music is way down the priority list, having just sold almost all of my music gear. From now on, it's just me and a lonely Yamaha S80... (see the photo's).

Nevertheless, Sellaband brings another musical experience. Who would have thought 10 years, or even 2 years ago, we could be stakeholders in a record company. This is what Web 2.0 seems to be all about: we can make a difference as consumers, choosing what gets recorded and what not (or later).

A smart marketing technique too, ofcourse. I hope the Sellaband team finds more ways to match the still enormous marketing power of the major labels. Many of the recording artist deserve to be in the charts, and in your CD stack.

My own musical taste is broad but always full of melody, groove and harmony. Ranging from Rufus and Steely Dan to Massive Attack, Sting, Incognito and the Brand New Heavies. You'll find many lady singers in my list (love those voices), but also groovy dudes like Funky P, or the straight-in-your-face rock of Sleeveless.
