Original compositions, wonderfully entertaining melodies and lyrics. It's impossible to define the Nears in one word or restrict them to one genre. Their creativity extends to their ability to find the right marketing approach. They recently produced a CD "Black Board" in a beautifully designed paper case, thanking all their believers by name, and sending the CDs to each one of them. While listening to all the 12 tracks in one sitting, it makes you realise what a wonderful Duo-band this is and what huge internatio nal potential they have! It's the major labels that should be hitting themselves for not having discovered bands like Nearfield.

If Paul Simon would've been dead, I would've been easily convinced of Kane being his reincarnation. Although that's a bit too easy. Kane Sole's songs aren't copies, they're original. They are pure, honest, with unique melodies, convincing lyrics and an amazing voice! I really want a Kane Sole CD so I can listen to more songs again and again.

JayDoubleYou is always right, another unique artist has joined SAB. Utterly compelling voice, strong melodies, totally convincing. Would love to read her motivation behind joining SAB and what her plans are when (not if) she reaches the 50$K.

Such extraordinary singer/composer! Her lyrics are social eye openers, her acapella renditions shine and highlight her amazing talent.

Who would want to try putting one of Albert Camus' earliest works, a play, into a Rock Opera? Only a Alex Ganassini would dare to take on such a difficult play. Brilliantly ex ecuted, imaginative score. 

Canadians know how to upgrade Country by adding spice, rhythm and by deleting some of the traditional Country music rules. Like Shania Twain did around the turn of the century, Janae Johnson captures the sound of our times and makes it her own. I'm hooked, her songs are addictive! And this is remarkable because I'm so not a country music girl ;-)

As Sophie has virtually promised that the CD will be less jazzy, as well as that they're highly talented musicians and because she and the band seem to be amazing individuals, I'll turned into a believer, despite the fact that when I first listened to their songs, I didn't know if I'd like it much. As with other artists, however, sometimes it takes more time to really listen to the layers in the composition. They're growing on me and Sophie has the right spirit and attitude for the SAB concept!

A Portuguese singer without a sign of fado in her songs, resulting in wonderfully melodic upbeat compositions. Christiana is a fantastic  talent with an international appeal.

Wonderfully imaginative and wicked songs that fit most of my moods. Which her attitude, creativity and amazing vocals she'll be a preferred supplier of hit songs to the global music community.

An extraordinary talent from Poland. Elegant, unique compositions, an incredible sense for style with a beautiful voice to match. She is clearly orchestrating her own musical destiny and is a visionary personality. Julia Marcell will be a global sensation in her own right! I've been playing her EP "Storm" on repeat since it arrived last Saturday and can't get enough. It's been produced beautifully and with tremendous skill and vision. Julia Marcell shouldn't be on Sellaband, she should have been picked up by a major label earlier. Just goes to show that major record labels have lost contact with their customers.

Mysti Mayhem is a unique artist: composer, brilliant vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and producer. Plus the girl has humor that will help her survive in the music business.

She's not a Bette Midler copy, no, Ms Mayhem is an Original, but with similar qualities in humour, observation and saying things like it is in the most deliciously refined manner. The Devine Mayhem should fill Broadway theaters 365 days a year, if not, the taste of the people in the US of A needs to have a war declared to it: the war against bad taste, or better: the war against not appreciating Mysti's mayhem. 

Normally you wouldn't catch me listening to rock music, but for Vegas Dragons I've made a rare exception: this isn't the overpowering rock where it's hard to distinguish between sound and instruments, the Vegas Dragons' sound is unique. There's melody, there are many unexpected twists and turns that you want to keep listening.

Arabic rhythms with a mellow, souly r&b twist. Wonderful music to raise your mood and dance, something Suhila does better than anyone else I've seen lately. If she'd be more active on SAB I'm sure she could be a future member of the 50K Club.
