I've heard from a friend of mine from this music plattform and the idea to help artist mostly unknown beyond their area to present their hard work to the worldwide audience. And the best prove for them is when there are many belivers who invest their money in a CD production.

So after some days around I am totally addicted to this idea and the fact that there are so many good artists around makes it even harder to withstand to sit all day behind the computer ;-)

I live with my wife and son in Vienna and love nearly all kinds of music.
Although my budget is limited, I love to spend it to new talents. It's amazing how many good yet unknown bands there are.

******************** RULES ********************

To keep track of good artist, I created my personal wish list, as many other belivers on SAB. This is no guarantee that I really buy parts, but near to it.

As I have an ending budget and there are so many good artist I will buy between 5 and 25 parts per artist at the max. Of course there are some exceptions.

I planned to invest only 600 parts in total in SAB, which is reached by now. From now on I will wait with further investements until I have proof, that the concept is working and I have some ROI. If not I will only invest 1 part per artist in the future. For the year 2008 I plan to only invest my returns from SAB. So lets see how good it works for us.

I hardly buy more parts than the number of belivers on the profile (e.g. you have only 10 beliver, I only invest 10 parts)

If I have bought parts of you and it seems that you are not an active member (ie. no profile update or post either somewhere on sellband or in the forum for over 3 month) I asume that you left. Furthermore I will withdraw the invested parts and share them between other artists.

Personal messages are always welcome, continous spamming of "copy'n paste" messages is annoying to me.

Ah, one last thing. I just invest money in artist where I can read something in the profile about them (ie there should be something written in it and of course in english!)
