As my profile suggests I am on Sellaband to support the love of my life, Monika Thomas. Obviously she has the most beautiful voice in the world and is one hell of a gifted composer, hopefully in time Monika will be able to give up her day job and live her dream writing and performing, something she was born to do.
Although Moni has been composing since the tender age of 16, it wasn't until April 2008 that we decided to produce her debut album ourselves. The songs, all in her native Polish were written over a long period in Monis life capturing her experiences both good and bad. So, although her style has changed somewhat, releasing these songs was something she always wanted. Now, Moni is concentrating on producing an album in English, and four songs have already been on sellaband within the last month. The first of these, Bitter Sweet which was her first ever English song has just reached the semi-final of the UK Songwriting Contest 2008. Shop

The artist displays feelings stopped by the echo of an empty hall. She won’t be stopped. 2nd ACT. As in an empathic mix, voices of all artists come to heat up the cold. Fire starts to burn in a subzero cave. Warmth starts to overwhelm the audience. They are touched. Shy glances make the artist exist on the stage. 3rd ACT. Fire melts ice.
