Sell-A-Party : Pleased to report that Sell-A-Party was a huge success. With approx 120 guests and friends in attendance the show began with the Team Angels 2008 Video - The Look. After introductions Sunsoma opened the show in great style complete with a slick handover number to Heidi who captivated the audience with a really entertaining set. The audience were then treated to special birthday greet/welcome video from Lori Greco (see my video tab) before Gisel de Marco opened her set accompanied by Casper (CAYA). At this juncture Gisel and myself surprised Kate with a new song dedicated to her and written especially for Sell-A-Party by Marc Supsic and Gisel called 'The One' This featured Marc playing accompaniment on Video from his Pennsylvania home while Gisel provided the on stage vocals. This ended with rapturous applause. Gisel then went on the produce a stunning set and had the audience eating out of her hands as she concluded with 'Dressed For Success' and 'New York, New York'
The second half of the show began with a short set from Milly Hannington accompanied by Pieps. This included a brand new song from Jess King written especially for Milly, 'I Just Need Your Heart' with Milly rounding off an impressive set with a tremendous rendition of 'Valerie'. At this stage a second surprise video message from Angie Arsenault was played and received in great style, just as Lori Greco's had in the first half. Sunsoma returned to rock the hall with their second set before CAYA played through to the end in a style not seen in the UK before but so well received. Casper's rendition of 'Classical Gas' was a joy to behold and the crowd were amazed at the quick fingers of this ace guitarist. Sheila produced vocals which had the crowd calling for more - and they got it.
The curtain drew on a most enjoyable evening in which NINE Sellaband artists had been featured, plus friend Pieps who's presence and company over the whole weekend was a pure joy.
Collaboration News : I am pleased to announce that I have agreed to act as Project Manager for Uruguayan band BONNIE in the planning of a UK tour in August 2009. This tour will also hopefully include mainland Europe. I will deal with all logistics, gig dates, personal appearances etc, and over the forthcoming months BONNIE will play a number of gigs to help fund this trip. For the band this will be the first time any of them have played outside of Uruguay. Having been a believer in BONNIE for many months now I am thrilled to be working with them on this project"

Special Announcement : I am pleased to announce that with immediate effect I have agreed to manage many aspects of Gisel de Marco's music career both on Sellaband and in a wider context.
Over the past months Gisel and myself have worked closely on a number of initiatives and we see this as a natural progression.
We do not envisage any immediate changes of direction but we will now work closely, along with all of our friends, to ensure that we meet our first goal which is to deliver you all a top quality Sellaband CD.
Thank you for all your support without which non of this would be possible
