Hi Piko,

I have been on Sellaband for exactly one month today - but I don't think I have invited you to listen to my music yet. I would like to do it now, especially that soon I am going to replace one of the songs which are now there, and soon after that, another one. So if you visit soon, you will still hear the songs which are right now in my player!

I make my music all by myself (although when i play live, I like to play with other musicians too). This year I have made a big decision to very seriously try to make music my primary occupation. I stopped working in my previous job two months ago - and I can already see that it was the right decision because the things have been going really well, and not just on Sellaband.

I really hope you will visit soon - I have a feeling you might like what I do!

An artist. Ordinary artist. A stage. Empty stage. A theatre audience. Frozen... A Frozen Theatre.

1st ACT.
The artist displays feelings stopped by the echo of an empty hall. She won’t be stopped.

2nd ACT.
As in an empathic mix, voices of all artists come to heat up the cold. Fire starts to burn in a subzero cave. Warmth starts to overwhelm the audience. They are touched. Shy glances make the artist exist on the stage.

3rd ACT.
Fire melts ice. Water kills fire...ENTER FROZEN THEATRE!!!

I have just posted a new song, 'Castaway'. It showcases my softer, more vulnerable side & I'm told it's a good one to dim the lights, put on the headphones & relax to. Enjoy!

Hello everyone,

My name is Monika Thomas and I am Polish.

I was born in Krakow, although I now live with my Welsh partner Paul in the UK. I have been composing music since the age of 16, it is my lifetime passion.

Like many people on here, my dream is to have my music recorded in a professional studio. I have recently released my debut CD album which is all in Polish and produced by myself. I am now writing songs in English - my first one is called Bitter Sweet which you can hear on this profile.
This song has been composed and performed by myself. The lyrics I wrote with help from my partner Paul and friend Jere VanLoan.
Jere wrote the lyrics to the second song called "Once". I composed the music and performed it.


I would be fantastic to find people who believe in me and who are keeping their fingers crossed for me at all times... I would like to thank from the bottom of my heart everyone who buys a part of this to help to make my dreams come true.

and just a note to tell you that I have a new song I would love you to hear. It is a crazy, revved up remix of my serene "Angel" and completely different from the original. It is totally unusual for me too - like a happy accident really, but very sensuous with exotic notes of the orient and I really wanted to share it here. It will add spice to a great night out on the town or make you want to dance with someone real close. Or at least that's what it makes me feel, so I thought I'd play it for you. It was born out of too many late nights of passionate brainstorming in the studio.
