About me
A WORD FROM YOUR SPONSOR
I'm here to support mostly Electronic music and Hiphop which doesn't mean i won't support anything else that sounds good.
This is what i want to hear in a song to get&n bsp;my vote of confidence.
I'm looking for creative artists, bands and DJ's who most of the time won't produce big hits but definately can. Nowadays i'm getting very tired of all the rockbands and singer/songwriters who are promoted all over the radio and music-sites on the internet. &nb sp; MY EARS WANT TO BE SUPRISED!!!
For Electronic music this means: A solid build-up or intro, a singer or rapper that ADD'S something to a beat and does not only provide a beat with text. I like effects, especialy voice-effects like talkbox and vocoders. And if you use one of those in a proper way you will definately have my vote.
For HipHop this means: Also a solid build-up or intro. A wise rap-artist once said "It's mostly tha voice who get's you up. And mostly tha voice that makes you buck. A lot of rappers got flavour and some got skills, but if your voice ain't dope you need to chill." As a white kid living in the Dutch suburbs i listened to a lot of Hiphop between the years 1986 and 1997. I actually made some sort of study out of it but lost interrest when the word "Urban" was invented. I prefer beats made out of samples and scratches over the monotone simplistic beats you hear nowadays. And again, if voice-effects are used in a proper way you will have my vote. I speak a variety of languages, so it doesn't matter where your from as long as i like it.
To everyone out there i want to say "Keep up the good work". And if i like it you will have my vote of confidence and my money.
Best regards, Quint

Adam's Apples
On The Fly
Experienced New Yorkers playing melodic and powerful classic-inspired rock with rich vocal harmonies - think Boston for the millennials. Going to be massive.

A big warm hello!
and just a note to tell you that I have a new song I would love you to hear. It is a crazy, revved up remix of my serene "Angel" and completely different from the original. It is totally unusual for me too - like a happy accident really, but very sensuous with exotic notes of the orient and I really wanted to share it here. It will add spice to a great night out on the town or make you want to dance with someone real close. Or at least that's what it makes me feel, so I thought I'd play it for you. It was born out of too many late nights of passionate brainstorming in the studio. So please listen for yourself and let me know what you think. if you like it jump on board and i will give you the song to have for your own '-)
peace, love and music

May 12 2008 18:18 CET The Jade Diary - 4K and onwards!
Hi Q-union,
To describe what we sound like I’d have to say a little like a blend between KT Tunstall, Enya, Brooke Fraser and U2. Pretty eclectic!
But one of our believers summed us up pretty well: “What’s notable about The Jade Diary is their truth, honesty and raw emotion that channels through each song, and what I find is their greatest strength is that the tracks all provide an insight into the deepest emotions and feelings so many will experience in their life.”
So come and have a listen to find out whether he’s right!
Cheryl
