About me
I have an Art Gallery which doubles as my home...which became a coffee shop...and then music venue too.
I'm quite young but cunningly disguise myself as an excentric old man, who lives in a 16th century cottage in a cobbled courtyard. Here I hold parties and music festivals 'alfresco' under the leaves of Malcom, a four hundred year old Sycamore.
I have three boys, each of whom I love and respect for all their ambitions, qualities and charm.
I share my life with a special and wonderful girl called Amy and my life centres around growing (organically) and maintaining this space (The Drawingroom and Francis Yard) which nurtures and heals. This healing comes with Love through the Fineart, the music (live and playlisted), the home made, organic, free-range and fair trade food as well as the beautiful younger Drawingroom Team of people who work with me...Jess, Sarah, Dom, James, Lorna, Sam...headed up by Ewe (Eva). For those of you who are just reading about Francis Rodino, the person and the band, I'd like you you to know what a really special group of ppl they are. They work so well together. They are polite, bright and such a positive, special group of human beings. As for Francis, as much as he is a fabulous networker, using all the tools available to him to promote the band, he is such a wonderful sourse of encouragement to other musicians too. This aspect of humanity should be acknowledged and encouraged; it's was he does; it's called working with Love in your heart and he demonstates this through the caring he shows for those ppl around him. | ||||||

A big warm hello!
and just a note to tell you that I have a new song I would love you to hear. It is a crazy, revved up remix of my serene "Angel" and completely different from the original. It is totally unusual for me too - like a happy accident really, but very sensuous with exotic notes of the orient and I really wanted to share it here. It will add spice to a great night out on the town or make you want to dance with someone real close. Or at least that's what it makes me feel, so I thought I'd play it for you. It was born out of too many late nights of passionate brainstorming in the studio.
