I could tell you that Blossom Storms belong to the post rock genre occupied by the likes of Mogwai, Sigur Ros and Godspeed You Black Emperor. It's true, they do, but that is not the full story. They sound similar to those bands while also having a distinctive take on the huge orchestral rock track. A quirky sense of humor, the ability to surprise with an unexpected melody, a gift for chosing the right sample or being able to blend the most unlikely sounds. Blossom Storms sound like great bands because they are a great band. | ||||||

A big warm hello!
and just a note to tell you that I have a new song I would love you to hear. It is a crazy, revved up remix of my serene "Angel" and completely different from the original. It is totally unusual for me too - like a happy accident really, but very sensuous with exotic notes of the orient and I really wanted to share it here. It will add spice to a great night out on the town or make you want to dance with someone real close. Or at least that's what it makes me feel, so I thought I'd play it for you. It was born out of too many late nights of passionate brainstorming in the studio. So please listen for yourself and let me know what you think. if you like it jump on board and i will give you the song to have for your own '-)

hi rrees!
we wanted to let you in on our progress, so, here we are. A few weeks ago, we performed in a large, old factory, accompanied by postmodern dancers. it was awesome to say the least, in such a manner that we'd like to avoid stages and transcend in a way the 'band' label.
for this show, we adapted some of our songs (i love you all, purple dick, lain and alien sex scene) into definitive versions, which we are really happy with. so we are that much closer to realising our cd!
