I generally enjoy listening to those kinds of music, which are'nt heavly played on rotation. Of course, I like radio in general, too, but I'm often more addicted by individual artists and netlables. I have no personal music background like playing an instrument or working within the music industry, so one might say, I'm not that familiar with music or having an argument about it. But I tell you, I can be a little stubborn in discussions about certain music genres.

My home vinyls (yes, you've read that right!) consist of some rock, some pop, many (older and newer) jazz, and many electronic pieces (I think I have nearly 200 hundred vinyls over all or so). I grow up in an area with high influence from electronic music (rave, acid, techno) and from there I developed my personal 'feel-good' music style. I like good electronic-jazz, electronic-pop, electronic-rap remixes or artists in that area (Björk, Massive Attack, Jazzanova, Jazzkantine). I'm addicted to good female vocal jazz/soul (Diana Krall, Norah Jones, Sarah Vaughan, Nina Simone, Billie Holiday, etc.). On the male side there are more instrumentalist in my vinyl boxes (like Herbie Hancock). But this kind of Jazz isn't the whole thing I'm listing to. Good 80s music tracks is best for car driving for me! I'm not so into all kinds of heavy metal and the original german folk (schlager) isn't my piece of cake. But country or blues is sometimes ok, too.

SellABand was brought to my attention by a good german video/linkblog, and I even found an artist on my first search, which might be interesting in the future.

So listen to your kind of music and keep in mind, that music taste is a total subjective thing. Argueing is Ok, saying your music is s*** is not...
