I've been a bit out of touch from SAB lately due to family and work reasons. I'll slowly get back into the swing of things again. It's great that a number of artists have hit $50K lately.

I have a new plan for investing in general and of course this could change at any time :-) Though there will be noteable exceptions, I'll invest a minimum of 1 to 5 parts in each artist above $10K. Of course I'll still be investing more in artists whose music really matches my musical tastes.

I don't really like writing these About Me sections, but figured it was time.

I’m a real believer in the concept of SellABand. Since a friend of mine got me hooked last year, I’ve been slowly increasing my part share at the site.

I’m not involved in the music industry. I’m a software developer and performance engineer for a large software company in the American Pacific Northwest and now focus on the performance of the relational database product at the company.

I’m not a musician either. I’ve sung in a number of church and folk choirs over the years but I don’t consider my musical abilities to be very good; however, that isn’t stopping me from recently starting drum lessons.

I grew up on a farm in a small town near San Diego in Southern California which my parents continue to own and operate. The primary product from the farm is eggs. I learned the value of hard work at an early age and know that through hard labor come some of our greatest personal achievements. I see a number of artists on SAB that seem to understand this and they are succeeding at achieving their goals.

I’m an Environmentalist and have been a member of the small American Green party for over 20 years. I feel music can is one of the vital conduits that can open our minds to issues and ideas much bigger than ourselves and through that opening a broader world view can enter in. For me, this view has let me see and understand the perils to our environment in greater clarity. So, yes, music is vital to me and I thank the artists on SAB for helping to propagate a new wave of music that is disconnected from the corporate labels which seem to only propagate greed, commercialism and division.

I wish all of the artists on SAB the absolute best in achieving their goals.
