About me
Hello All Believers. So you wanna know a bit about me? OK, first and foremost, I'm a mom of a precious 7-year-old who loves Spellbox. I'm a freelance writer who works primarily in the music business. I've been involved in the music world professionaly for nearly 18 years.
I recently left California for cleaner air, lower crime and less people. I now call the mountains of Maui home.
I also do a bit of publicity and promotion for concerts, festivals and bands. Most recently, I worked on a benefit concert with Willie Nelson here in Maui.
Before my daughter was born, I worked full time at a concert industry trade publication, Pollstar. They also have a website, pollstar.com. During those years, in addition to writing and reporting on concert business news, I interviewed up and coming artists from all genres of music for cover feature stories.
The acts I interviewed and wrote about include Rage Against The Machine, No Doubt, Ani DiFranco, Sheryl Crow, Faith Hill, Oasis, Dave Matthews Band, Goo Goo Dolls, Tony Bennett, Creed, Sublime, Blind Melon, Jewel, and many others. I love interviewing artists but left my job because I felt it was more important to raise my daughter.
I'm also a photographer. Since photography is not my main profession, the list of artists I've photographed is not quite as long. One highlight was that a photo I took of U2 ended up on the magazine's cover. Others I've photographed include Aerosmith, Tina Turner, Janet Jackson, Usher (who I also interviewed), Dave Matthews, Lenny Kravitz, Gwen Stefani and more.
These days, I am fortunate to write a few concert reviews but primarily I work on short news stories about bands and individual artists. That should be more than enough about me.
Oh yeah--I LOVE going to concerts. People can't believe I managed to make a career out of it. Go for your dreams......

Hello, I'm new at sellaband and searching for listeners interrested in new music. I sing
and play guitar, I've got song with complit instrumentals, but I like first, to give a feel

A big warm hello!
and just a note to tell you that I have a new song I would love you to hear. It is a crazy, revved up remix of my serene "Angel" and completely different from the original. It is totally unusual for me too - like a happy accident really, but very sensuous with exotic notes of the orient and I really wanted to share it here. It will add spice to a great night out on the town or make you want to dance with someone real close. Or at least that's what it makes me feel, so I thought I'd play it for you. It was born out of too many late nights of passionate brainstorming in the studio.
