The best and most true Fem-Gothic metal band with epic hints. It is rare to see an original LP in the genre especially in the year 2006 but Choices achieves this goal. On top of that, it stays evenly enjoyable fromt the start to the end with no draft songs to fill the gap. IMO less is more in this cd. A keyboard is just enough to get things going rather than an orchestra and the tenor sounds so much better than a repetitive choir. As a conclusion, and compared to the more raw "The Gate", Choices walks on the thin line between underground and commercial. I like this exact mix and i can only hope that things stay that way.Bands in the genre are so easily sold out and go mainstream. I wish this will not be the case with TLOH. A big warm hello!
and just a note to tell you that I have a new song I would love you to hear. It is a crazy, revved up remix of my serene "Angel" and completely different from the original. It is totally unusual for me too - like a happy accident really, but very sensuous with exotic notes of the orient and I really wanted to share it here. It will add spice to a great night out on the town or make you want to dance with someone real close. Or at least that's what it makes me feel, so I thought I'd play it for you. It was born out of too many late nights of passionate brainstorming in the studio. So please listen for yourself and let me know what you think. if you like it jump on board and i will give you the song to have for your own '-)
