Hi,

My real name is Marco van den Hout and I live in Hilvarenbeek, which is in The south of The Netherlands, close to the border with Belgium.

I got here when I read about Nemesea and liked the idea so decided to join. I have a broad taste but won't 'believe' in anything I don't really like.

On March 3 I went to Paris, France with a Dutch TV camera team, Pim Betist and two more believers (Monique and Tjalling) to check out Clémence in real life! See my Blog for more. Also check out the Sellaband Tribune #25

My current 'strategy' is to invest in as many bands that I like as possible. I'm not here for making profit, I'm here to discover new music and support artists who I think deserve it.

I appreciate it when bands add a comment or send a message whenever

- I have added a part 

- add you to my wish list

- I have a part in you and you added a song, changed profile, have news..

I don't like it when I get messages that are simply sent to many believers without having anything to do with me specifically. For example, a message like 'hey, I like Pearl Jam as well, people say we sound like them' is OK, but 'hello people on Sellaband, come check us out' is NOT.

I prefer comments over personal messages except when they're really personal. So far I have not deleted any of my comments, because I want other believers to see if you spam (bad), and also if you respond to my comments to you (good).

I like bands that are active on Sellaband, promoting their presence on Sellaband in a good way. Please at least respond to believers and update your profile once in a while.

Feel free to ask me about what I like or not like about your music or presence on Sellaband. I'm very honest. If I say something good about you, I mean it. If I say something critical, I mean it as well. This ofcourse doesn't mean that everyone feels the same, so if I don't like your music, your voice, your photos, etc. don't get upset, find people who do like it!
