Great female fronted rock with a strong melodic sound and a great lead singer (Marie)! Their debut album "SONIC SENSES" is really great and still on my iPod, but I can’t wait to hear their new songs!!! ****************************** Finally 10 k - well done! ****************************** |

Blending together a mash of styles, influences and strategies- one of Sellaband's longest serving bands has to be Blister. Joining the site near to its conception in 2006, they have promoted themselves over and over, and have finally reached the 9K mark, with 10K firmly in their sights. Although many may see their slow rise as a negative- i definitely have to disagree. The chance for Blister to truly connect with their fans has been achieved by their steady increase, and the work that they have put in day after day for two years shows that Blister, as a band, believe in themselves, this concept and their believers whole heartedly. Whats more, it proves that they are hard workers who deserve the goal well and truly. The music they produce is atmospheric rock, which relies heavily on the vocal talents of Marie. The vocalist has a charismatic presence that delivers emotional, yet powerful performances. Furthermore, the band prove endlessly that they have amazing skill with their instrumentation. The intricate and rocking compositions are so catchy and accesible, but still retain a sense of mystery and atmosphere to keep you entertained listen after listen. Blister are often overlooked on Sellaband, perhaps due to their refusal to spam themselves and/or compromise their music to anyone. But as i, and many other fans have realized- Blister are one of the kindest, thoughtful and generous bands on the website, and with a cracking sound to match, 50K will be here way before the next two years pass. |

Is Blister really on SellaBand since 2006? Wow. Then it should be 10K by now! Please, give them some love (er parts) this '06 week. |

Thanks for all the support in 2007. Our personal goal for this year. 30k! A long way to go but possible. New song material and our first video will be ready in the next few months! Keep believing |

Probably the best SAB band from Germany right now. |

Solid rock music, with very nice vocals on top. Yep I like that. My favourite song is still The Echo (the intro of that track in itself already convinced me), the final version of that song is even better than the previous one. |

Germany holds a tradition of producing great rock bands with a female lead vocalist, like: Wir sind Helden, Guano Apes, Rosenstolz, Juli, Silbermond ... I'm sure pretty soon we can add blister to this list. Welcome & Goodbye is my favourite blister-song. |

Blister are as good as anybody at interacting with believers - and just for good measure they produce excellent music as well. Sonic Senses is brilliant. Continued good luck guys |

Phantom Of The Sea" is a brilliant song! Blister is a collective of wonderful people who are sharing a passion for music. The vocals are amazing as well. I'm not normally a rock fan but Blister's songs aren't about deafening noise (although it took me a while to catch on to this :-) ) |

Strong songs, music, and singing is what make Blister a band to believe in. The recent changes to The Echo and Immunised bring a much greater balance to the music making them much stronger. The finished versions will only be stronger still. |

The Echo sounds really intriguing. And the live version of the Grasp (on their myspace) sounds great. You're on the right track, don't waver. |

Check out that young rock combo from Germany. Catchy melodic tunes with accoustic guitar or hard riffs alongside a female singer with a clear & lovely voice. Soon they will completely dipose my favorite german rock band D** H**** from my winamp playlist. Can't wait for their new album! |

Female-fronted rock but with more edge and much less gothic feel than would normally be automatically associated with a female lead singer. Indie rock with riffs has never sounded so good! |

Germany has a great history of artists, starting with Goethe.. and continuing with Blister! German is just the right language for hard rock and gothic music. Blaaaagh! Crank the volume to eleven! |
