i finished thepiano/voice demo of Divine Animal. it will be on Sellaband very soon.

i recording vocals for one of my favorite composer/ producer.. will tell more about that later

What a lovely surprise to see my name on the Tribune this week!

i m conscious of the originality of what i do and that it takes time for one soul to understand that Indian Vocals can contribute to make beautifull songs..

i m here on Sellaband for almost a year now and i know that i m going steadily to 50K

for the ones who love Indian vocals and electronica, pls check "Indian Electronica" on google and you ll find lots of infos on many artists with same roots.. some even made it to the Mercury Prize

i ve been recording a few vocals for my friend Brian from Vegas Dragons. The song is called Doomed to fail; it s very well composed and his voice sounds amazing.. i m looking forward to hear the final result on his Sellaband album.

Soon i ll be moving house so i m enjoying the last days in the urge garden.. feeling a bit sad to leave but city is definitly better for me a the moment

Next week i ll be recording my Set piano/voice with Marc Eric laine on the piano.. about 10 tracks.. will let you hear!

back from Paris

it was.. quite nice

i joined Nicolas Genest jazz world ensemble.. very cool people.. we ll have gigs in April i will let you know

i met very friendly artists as Louise Vertigo, Flo Comment, and Manu from Tryo (by coincidence!), and spent time with them

i like to do that.. when i get in contact with people via internet.. i like to meet them, it s more warmth in one s life

going to work on the Dragon (that is on this page) today with Cello player Maxime Dupuis, he s going to add arrangements

otherwise i m trying to stop smoking.. something is changing inside of me.. i feel fearless to say my thoughts to people.. 2008 looks promising

i m in Paris with my folders that i made myself with my little hands (thanks to Word Office and to my flatmate), i have also beautifull demos and visit carts that i made myself etc.. phoned to a big Label today, couldnt go through the assistant so i m condamned to leave a demo/folder/visitcart at the reception.. never the less, i have 2 appointments tomorrow, with people who want to see me and that s a more joyfull perspectiv

Noyeux Joël a tous!!

i ve been recording for 1 month with wonderfull band freecab for our project "InnaGarden", so demo is done and i love it, keeping fingers crossed for good feedback

London was nice, BBC was smooth and friendly, and the concert with marc Eric Laine at Union Chapel was magical

i made new pics with Antonio Pagano who s one of my favorite photographers, i feel gratefull about it

keeping on working with Niraj on "the Dragon", first mix is impressive, this guy is very talented

Nederlands were ok as well, me and my band Aesh had our first appointment with our new Agent Tanya Schaap from JWA with whom we had good drinks and indian food, she plans for us a Tour in Mexico in May + a gig at The Doelen and maybe a recording.. soundz ok to me :)

one of my wishes for the new year is to be more present on sellaband and get more believers to join the boat.. i dont know exactly how i can get the ball rolling so if you have suggestions..

The Dragon has reached 50k! The mermaid is happy

been watering the garden this morning, took 1 hour (big garden)

i will give an Interview/gig with my dutch band Aesh at the BBC in UK 16th of October!

Our gig in London was good good Fun..

summer is good, between gardening and music making

just moved place and got my keyboard as well as Cubase so i m going to get busy

Le Lion will feature on the Indian Electronica compilation Volume 1, amongst tracks from great artists like Tavin Singh and transglobal Underground ! Official release will be 17th September 2007. Aesh will come to London to London 25th August to perform at the Indian Electronica Festival. i m very happy about it :)

i have the definite track listing for my album Divine Animals. There will be 11 songs. i hope to record it with Sellaband

Meanwhile i m going to record an Album with the band Freecab called Ragaboum, it will take place with the excellent team of Studio Lakanal in France




15 June 2007, new moon

Beautifull days in South of France.. i m spending time with family, and begin to organise a live set with my friends from the Band Freecab. We re planning to record new material as well in August.


Pity i couldn t come to the Sellaband supergig in London.. but i m sure that i will have the occasion to be present at one of the next gigs to come..

I m planning to make a video with my sisters.. something feeric.. will put it on as soon as it will be done

Been exchanging a few emails with my friend the Vegas Dragon.. looking forward to sing for him.. i m sure his album is going to be as warm hearted as he is himself

i m back from London.. it was good.. Giant Lions and Mermaids statues, Peter Pan Parks.. le bonheur
What happened there ..

• a Dhrupad Concert at the Nehru Center.. c était solennel..
• a Song at the Stage of the Spitz.. c etait friendly
• new friends
• new network
• new both friends and network
• a work part time as a housekeeper at the Charlotte street Hotel (dont laugh, Bruce Willis was one of the Customers there.. he he..)
  
  Now i m under the sun of Montpellier, soon will turn brown..
