Five tonic young guys who rock a lot! I like Chump very much for a lot of different reasons: they have been AIOIA - and Uncover! - friends for a couple of months now, they spam a lot and use incentives as old professionnals in communication, they explore many sides of pop/rock and are not scared with taking risks, especially on stage! I love the fresh dynamism of this band! Funky Feeling: this "fu(n)k feeling" is an example of what I mean!!! Devil: I love the Cream-like beginning of this song that revisits the last sixties and the early seventies in a joyful manner and it reminds me my last years as a student and makes me smile. Thank you Chump! Waiting: another live song on their player, with a kinda Jagger style in the intonations... Excellent! Pure rock! You'll make it guys! Chump in five words: youth, dynamism, fun, sprite, ROCK! |

It's like a rough diamond, edgy and full of potential. It is mature. a Sound with a very own identity unlike a lot of other Sellaband artists. With a pop rock vibe, Chump are set to be the next So What. With a few more funky elements, and a strong passion for their music, the band have all the pieces to slot themselves into the 50K aim. Age aside, Chump provide some of the most upbeat, catchy funk-rock that you're likely to hear this side of Luna Assassins. The fun, youthful and delightful tones of lead vocalist Vince leads each composition through its well structured segments. Some of the most original vocal lines teamed with strong guitar hooks give the songs a sense of familiarity, and make sure the hooks bury deep into you're mind. One of the youngest, but without a doubt- one of the most talented projects at Sellaband- when investing in Chump, you're also investing in a project that will surely blossom even further with time. |
