CLOON BIOGRAPHY
Cloon started out in 2002 as an instrumental project containing current members Maarten, Philippe, and Servaas. A 4th Cloon member joins the ranks in February 2004. Tom Claus takes his place behind the microphone and appears to be the missing part of the puzzle, performing as an excellent story-teller and vocalist, but above all a genius with a master diploma in crazy freaked-out frontmanship. New songs were written and a new Cloon was born …
A first demo was recorded in the spring of 2004, containing 3 songs : “Judasâ€, “A Donut the Size of a Wheel†and “Be Amazingâ€. This demo-CD received unanimously positive reviews from national à nd international music press!
In november 2006, Cloon released a 5 – track counting limited edition EP, getting them on stages in Belgium, England, The Netherlands and Germany. The international music press goes wild again and Cloon is being noticed by multi-platinum Swedish rapmetalband Clawfinger, who invite them as the main support act on their European tour in October 2007.
Cloon is currently writing new material for a first full album, to be released somewhere in 2009. Labels that are interested to work with Cloon … please contact the band!

Hello dear Sellabandian :) To say thanks for an amazing few months I'm giving away - yes GIVING AWAY - mp3 downloads of what I'm told is one of my finest songs to date - 'Mama Steel' It's a soft, rocking kind of song, brimming with emotion and tenderness, about a mother and her child (kind of a Christmassy theme when you think about it!).I'm soo proud of it whenever I listen to it as it seems to encapsulate a very heartrending story that all of us can identify with on some level. I actually wrote it in one go in the early hours of Christmas morning when everyone else had gone to bed. I cannot explain where the theme sprung from - it arrived as though in a waking dream. It's a reflective kind of song, good for listening late at night when you're bathed in solitude. It's also good for this time of year when we look back over where we've been and take the temperature of our hopes and dreams. Really it's about reaching down into your deep emotions and uncovering your true profound desires, how healing that can be even if you've been living like a shadow in the boneyard... I really hope you enjoy listening to it, ideally with your headphones to get around the issue of compression! I hope you will find something to touch & inspire you. If you feel moved, do share the link with family & friends. Let's see if we can get this download to 10's of 1000's of music lovers! At the end of the day what I'm doing is not about economics, it's about the hunger to communicate, to BE HEARD and to move others! I feel this song has an intense message that longs to be heard by other human souls. Stay warm & well, here's hoping you will give & receive lots of festive embraces, A very cold-ridden yet festive-feeling Ariel xxx
