UPDATE: June 10 | On the road again. Headed out to Wyoming to see family. Next week on the road to Boston for a wedding. I'll be playing for someone that found me through SAB! Fun stuff. He'll be flying me out and having me sing a 2 hour set for his guest on a beach in Cape Cod. Super stoked to check the beach up there and to hang out with one of my new believers! See you soon Dennis.
Also stay tuned for those of you in Sacramento. I'll be taking my acoustic act on the road out that way sometime in July.
May 20 2009 | What a great week in Hawaii. The shows were great fun, the food, and the island was just BEAUTIFUL! The EP is getting some great feedback and im excited to share the rest of it with you. I'm thinking i might post it radiohead style or post the tracks on amiestreet.com...not sure just yet. To much fun in the sun :). I'll be leaving tomorrow then i'll figure out how to get these tracks up for those of you who are interested.

May 16 2009 | Today is my big hometown show and we just got the mixes for the the EP done last night LOL. Sounding pretty rad! I want to share some of it with you. The first song is called I FOUND LOVE. Click the play button :). When i wrote this song i wanted to write a tune about two people traveling and finding each other but once i started writing it i found a more important message. Before you love someone you should first love yourself. Im no doctor phil but i do feel this is very important for a love with longevity for any relationship.
These tracks are mixed but not yet mastered. Nonetheless i wanted to share what we have and i hope you enjoy it :).
As promised too on this ep has the acoustic tracks for each song for those of you who like the more stripped down Cubworld :). FYI on these acoustic tracks. They were recorded in true Cubworld fashion. At home with one mic picking up my vocal and guitar at the same time :). I do this so i can catch the true feel of my inner metronome a.k.a my heart :). Hope ya dig it.

March 24 2009 | Cubworld EP coming soon! About a year and a half ago i won a contest with the help of voters from around the world like you awesome people here at SAB. The prize was 5K in cash and prizes. They actually gave me 1K and then an IOU :). So i sat back on the I owe you till last month when i got the big itch to record. So i hit them (http://spinmmi.com) up and asked if they'd want to help me with the EP. "YES" and now we are off. I got the payment to the producers just yesterday and now it's time to get going on this. I'm real excited and we'll see what we can make.
The theme of the EP is "LOVE" and the title of the EP will be "I <3 _______" Not writen like that but you get the idea. The <3 will be a heart and the space will be for people to write their loved ones name in the space. I love the idea. My wife Mandy came up with is :).
I'll have 3 main tracks on this project
1. Goodmorning Love
2. Moving Love
3. I Found Love
So you see the Love theme? hehe. I love it :)
So as i've said before that from here on out every time i record a produced track it will be accompanied by an acoustic track.
So i will have these 3 tracks produced and along with them the same three songs acoustic. I'm stoked!
The only song from this list that i have not yet posted or shared online anywhere is I Found Love. I'm real happy with this new song and i think you'll enjoy it if you dig my music. So stay tuned friends. I'll for sure have some kind of Believer hook ups.

March 11 2009 | Dear Arena Fest Jury. I know your watching hehe :). I just want to write where and everywhere you'll be reading and say that I and my band are ready to tour. Man band sounds ready and stands ready for this tour. We are committed to SAB as you can see. Not sure what more i can do but be ready :) did i mention we're ready :) hahaha. "High five!"
March 05 2009 | Aloha friends and i mean that literally because i just found out that im going home again. Last year i got to play a great show at BYU Hawaii and i am going back again this year with my BAND! We are stoked and look forward to the gig. We have been playing a lot lately to get tighter as a new band to get ready for Arena Fest (hint hintt Jury people that ready this hehehe). K, so if any of you want to plan a holiday to Hawaii the show will be May 16th on the North Shore of Oahu, Laie!
I have a little update on an EP i'll be doing this year. I think i just found a sponsor but i'll keep you posted. I'm real excited about this cause i need to get more music down. I'm dying to create!! :D

Hey friends.
Aloha and welcome to my new account. I am very excited to start a new journey here on SAB.
I'll keep it short and simple...like me :).
I've been working on a lot of new material over the last year that im pretty stoked to record. I would love to record these new songs with SAB and have them sounding as EPIC as possible. I have big plans for this next album and have been planning my moves since i finished the last album. that was a REAL dream come true. BKN did a great job and i know i am the better for having gone through the process of making a real record. I hope to kick it up a notch now. Musically and Product wise. I feel the strongest thing i can do is just keep cranking out the songs. The better they sound the more people will listen and the better chances i'll have of making a difference in the music world.
A little break down of what i have up my sleeve. About 40 songs that I'm pretty stoked about. I am stripping these down to the best of the best and its not easy to put some of these songs on the back burner but it will make this next record epic. I've been just arranging and living with these songs over the last year trying to really capture them and how i feel they should be presented and i'm stoked.
MY ISLAND | MY SOUL
This is the title of my next album. Simply explained it will be a combination of songs from my island influences like 'wise words' , 'you make me feel', and deeper songs like 'my world' and 'lights fade'. I want to key in on more af a pure sound this time around so i'll be shooting for sounds of Damien Rice, Amos Lee, Coldplay, Keane...and for the Island grooves Jack Johnson (of course), Sublime, Citizen Cope....Oh man im excited. I've been excited just working on these tracks too.

Aloha! and I feel great! I’m very excited! I know there will be challenges taking on this new account, a lot has changed on SellaBand since I released Step Lightly Create Out Loud but I really do feel this is the way and the time for me to make another record. Its gunna be a lot of fun too. I'm still addicted to SellaBand, I think it's brilliant, and I want my next (and every) album to sound great, so here I am.
I'm stoked to create another album with SellaBand because I love the model, the community, the quality, and the fact that if anyone sees this concept through they WILL make it to the studio. Man, after two years I still sound like a SellaBand missionary haha!
Do you have any songs in mind yet for the album?
Fow show! (a.k.a For sure). I have about 40 songs I'm happy with right now. One song I played the last time I was in Amsterdam "Good Morning Love". I also have some collaborations up my sleeve. I have taken in all the feedback from the current album and will be keying in on the sounds and songs that I got the best responses from. I think the believers will be really happy with my new songs. I’ve really enjoyed writing new music and recording it in my bedroom again!
How will your second album differ to your first, 'step lightly create out loud?
Good question. I don't feel it will differ so much as show my consistency and hopefully show that I have grown musically as well. I've had some influential people in my life ask me "Do you think you should stick to one sound/style?†Like maybe sticking to a Jack Johnson style or maybe running with the Coldplay/Keane style...I've thought about this a lot but I really feel that it would take away from what I've been trying to do and where I feel music needs to go. Cross genre music is very much alive. Rock mixed with Hip Hop beats is not a foreign concept anymore so I intend to keep my focus the same. In fact, I plan on doing it a bit more on this next album.
On Step Lightly Create Out Loud you'll find two types of island feel tracks (You Make Me Feel and Wise Words). I have been thinking that this next album needs to be a half split. Half island and half soul which leads me to the name of the next album. My Island | My Soul. I've explained this before but I love island music, roots reggae, and fun groovy songs...that’s what I grew up on BUT my singer songwriter music is what speaks to my soul! The music that makes me weep and touches my heart when I'm the only one in the room. I can’t split the two up and I would feel like a fraud if I did, so I won't.
So the short answer after my long answer, LOL, about what will make this album different is that there will be MORE Island and MORE soul.
Why should people 'believe' in you?
Because I'd love for them too. I do know that the next album will be worth joining. I plan on doing some real exclusive things for the limited edition that I didn't get to do last time, plus the new tracks will be EPIC! I think people should believe in me if they like my music and have a desire for more professional music from Cubworld. I love nothing more then to sing for people that want to listen. That’s what drives me in the music world.
