Damn Bones is a dutch power metal band. With distinctive groovy rhythms combined with melodic themes they give away 70 's/ 80´s rock influences ( think Zeppelin / Van Halen ).
Although 80´s rock is a distinctive influence the songs are definately pure metal which might remind you of Bay area thrash while on the other hand apparantly the grunge-era didn´t fell into oblivion.
Just listen to their brand new tracks and judge yourself.

Just wanted to pop in and give you a heads up on Sommersby's October Competition!
If you haven't already heard, the competition (hot on the heels of his recent neck-in-neck September fiesta) will offer 20 parts for the winner and is open to all artists that have between $9999 and $0 in budget.
Please check the forum for updates on contest rules and regs….starts 25 October!
This is a great opportunity for you. Campaign with the believers to let them know you'd like to be nominated and encourage them to vote for you when the time comes.
Of course, if you'd like to, or you know someone who would like to, donate parts for the prizes in the Competition, just send (or have them send) Sommersby the details under a message marked “October Donation."

I stopped by to let you know about a forum that is used by many believers and artists from Sellaband (SAB has mentioned that they are working on an official forum soon) http://sellaband.pro boards79.com/ I also wanted to mention a website put together by one of our other believers http://www.imasellab andaddict.com/site/ where you can see video footage of an interview with the guys behind sellaband.
