Defuse: "In a world full of choices, in search of the truth."
Defuse is a Cross- over band from Rotterdam (The Netherlands), which was formed in the cold winter of 2001. With agression, passion and true emotions as important ingredients, they started to create their music and so a mixture of raw drums, complex bass-lines, powerfull guitar riffs and a destroying voice can be recognized in this day of age.
Defuse: "Connected through heart and soul, based on roots beyond imagination."
At the beginning of Defuse, the choice was made to find their own truth. With an urge to make music that was shaped in sound and born from total freedom, Defuse started a process where their passions kept growing.
With a legendary,powerfull and energetic first show in 2001 and the opportunity to be the support act for the famous Dutch band ‘Racoon’, several performances and competitions would follow. In 2006 they joined the international contest ‘Emergenza’ with the result that they became finalists and played in a sold-out venue: ‘The Melkweg’ in Amsterdam.
With the coming of their first EP: "To Create Infinity” (which came out in 2002), soon to be followed by the single: “Copy me” and a year later, the EP “A Mourningcard On Your First Birthday”, they forged their strengths to write their first full length album that will be released on 08.03.08 at Waterfront (Rotterdam)

Last weekend we had a gig at Dock03. We've had a blast!! Thanx to our crew we managed to rock te stage!

6 parts are already sold thanks guys for supporting us!! And yes we hope that this will become even more. But Julz post is right and we do need promotion very much! So place our banners where ever you can so that other people could find out that we exist. We are trying to figure out some thing to spam this word around!
Well shows are going awfully slow... We know that its very bad that you dont have shows after a CD release. But things did not really work out very well for us at the moment. But with the coming of some new crew members in defuse. Pragt (shows) and Mighty Mike (roadie). They are going to help us out with getting our shizzle straight!
We have some trouble with our website (www.defuse.nl) It seems that the server we where on kick us out.. We hope that we have the problem fixed before the end of the week. Just need to get some detailed info. :D.

Well as a few of you know, our first self produced album named: "DEFUSE/DEVIANCE" is out now! We had a blast of a show and a great releas in "Waterfront" (the Netherlands). We would like to thank everybody who came to our show and kicked some ass :D.
