a new month so a new start for Dela Fin on Sellaband! At this moment Monsieur Cannibale is recording new songs and focussing more on a band feel. This means there is (unfortunatly for me and some of the Monsieur Cannibale fans) no more room for my more acoustic songs. Therefor I've decided to take Dela Fin to another level. Not more the electro acoustic songs that where on this profile before, but singer/songwriter acoustic songs in the style of the old Monsieur Cannibale days. This means songs inspired by artists as Damien Rice, Jeff Buckley and Nick Drake.
For now I've uploaded one studio track and 2 live tracks. For believers who invest more then 3 parts they'll get to download the free solo CD which will be released throughout december and which will count around 12 tracks for free!
If it comes down to the 50k plan there are 2 words: promotion and touring! Just like it has always been for me :) The more detailed 50k plan will follow!

Frank aka Dela Fin
Biography
Dela Fin is the alter ego of 22 year old dutch singer/songwriter Frank van den Ende. Under this name Frank brings his acoustic to the public.
During the last few years Frank has built up a large experience within the music business by graduating at the Utrecht conservatory and being a music teacher in high school. Besides this Frank learned a lot about promotion, booking and performing as being the front man of indie rock band Monsieur Cannibale (http://www.myspace.com/monsieurcannibale or www.monsieurcannibale.com) with who he toured Europe. Now Monsieur Cannibale is focussing more on a "band feel" Frank decided to give his acoustic songs a try under the name of "Dela Fin"
In the live setting Dela Fin exsists of 3 multi instrumentalists. Besides Frank there are Jos Hoogstad and Dina de Vries who met during the study at the conservatory in Utrecht!
Dela Fin is planning on touring the Netherlands and Europe in 2008!

HERE YOU CAN READ MY 50K PLAN AND MY PLANS FOR A NEW CONCEPT CALLED "SELL-AN-ACOUSTIC LIVE"
Sell-an-acoustic Live
As some of you might know I consider live performance one of the most important things of a musician! Live performance really shows what a musician can do and what he or she is about!
The last months I've been trying to work out some ideas when it comes down to promoting this wonderful website throughout performing! Finally I came up with the idea of Sell-an-acoustic live! A way of artists and believers to join hands!
The concept is an acoustic evening with 4 to 5 artist who will all perform around half an hour. Each artist plays an acoustic set. If the artist isn't acoustic but metal, hip-hop or just plain rock they will be challenged to re-arrange the songs to an acoustic setting!
The performances will be held throughout all the countries where Sellaband is active. This means that a believer or an artist can "host" it's own Sell-an-acoustic evening! The artist or believer contacts me and together we will try to find a good venue for this evening! After the venue has been settled we will fill in the artists.
The goal is to have at least one international artist, but preferly some more!
After this all has been settled we will start promoting the evening. Ticket sales will benefit the artists and believers will get refunded tickets.
Besides this there will also be some competitions for both artists and believers to be a part of the evening!!! And it's a goal to let all the artists that perform at the evening to collaberate at least one song!
All performances will be taped and shared with believers and artists on Sellaband! If possible to shows will be webcasted!

Dela Fin 50k plan!
After deciding to quit the Monsieur Cannibale profile on Sellaband and revealing that I'm Franc et les Centimes a lot of people asked me who the real Frank was....
Well people I can be honost with you: THIS is the real Frank. This profile shows all I am about and what I love. These songs are the ones my complete heart is in and with which I hope to conquer the world.
I've always had the plans to make a solo record because I think that just is what I do best. But then Monsieur Cannibale started to run and run even harder and these plans got on the shelf for a while... But here I am to fullfill my dreams. And what are these dreams!? My 50k plan!
If I'll reach the 50k plan I'd make a record that would amaze everyone. I'm convinced a record is not just a collection of diverse songs. It's a whole in which every song has to be right in place. My biggest loves when it comes down to records are Kate Bush's "Hound of Love" and Radioheads "Kid A". Both bombastic orchestrated records. If I'll reach the 50k I'll make two records one collection of acoustic songs and one concept album of around 10 songs which will take the listener on a trip! The concept album will be well orchestrated and arranged. By both myself and some good friend I've made at the conservatory and studied orchestration!
The two records are just a slice of the pie. Once it is finished I'll do all I can (if it has to with my own money) to take it on the road. To perform it live (also 2 halfs: one with loose songs and the whole concept record in a whole). This on the road thing will in the first place lead me through Europe and hopefully also other continents!
How to draw full venues!? By promoting the record in original ways! Which ways!? I can't really reveal that: otherwise it wouldn't be original anymore!
The extra's for believers on the limited edition!? There will be a lot. First of all I'm a big fan of music documentary's. Believers will recieve a DVD that will have the journey of the record on it and live footage. This DVD won't be just a 30 minute compilation but a full movie of around 100 minutes.
Besides that all believers will recieve free concert tickets for a concert in their neighbourhood. They're free to do with it what they want. If they want to sell them to make profit then that's their choice! If they want to give them away: it's also their choice :)
Now... How to reach that 50k!? Ofcourse by making people enthousiastic for Sellaband and get new believers down to this wonderful site! One of the manners here for is the "Sell-an-acoustic live" format!

As you don't seem to be active here on SAB anymore (no update for 3 1/2 months), I think it's fair to move my part to an artists that really has the goal of reaching 50k herte on SAB.

That is semantics Frank and you know it. You are the band, the other bandmembers wouldn't have gone on Slice the Pie. It's not that I think that you shouldn't, but it's what you wrote on Slice the Pie about not believing in Sellaband. It's your good right to say that, but if you don't believe in SAB, then you should leave SAB as an artist.
