Desilva are a Leeds based band recording and performing original material as well as performing rock/indie covers. The band was originally set up as a cover band in the year 2000. The cover band scene are not enough to satisfy the creative urges of these 5 musicians so in late 2007 the band started work on writing and recording their own material.The boys have a wide range of musical influences between them so the original material has become one big melting pot of music with influences from all genres. The Desilva live shows have become high energy entertainment with the band firing on all cylinders from the word go as well as showing their softer side on a few slow atmospheric songs.With the emphasis on LIVE music there are no backing tracks or sequencers just 5 musicians doing what they love playing music and entertaining.
