A face that has graced TV commercials by international brands like McDonald’s, Toyota and Pizza Hut, electropop songstress Saer Ze (pronounced Zay) has come a long way and from a very experimental musical background. Starting out as a rapper in an RnB girl trio, Ze released a first solo EP ‘My Make-Believe’ back in 2003 that saw her producing material from poetry to hiphop and DnB.
In 2005, Ze released the ‘SHAMELESS’ debut album which was recorded in Byron Bay, Australia, where she completed a degree with SAE(School of Audio Engineering). ‘SHAMELESS’ was a mash of electro to rock to ethnic tracks. The self-released CD brought her several award nominations including ‘Best Local English Artiste’ of 2006 (AIM, Malaysian Grammys), ‘Most Outstanding Youth of the Year’ 2005 (AYA, Asian Youth Ambassadors).
Her music video ‘Too Sexy’ is seen on Hitz.TV, and her singles have hit the charts of national radio. Single ‘Room for 2’ was recently featured on an MTV ad by Noise Singapore and she has also grabbed the CLEO Magazine’s Young Achievers Award 2007. Ze has headlined alongside artistes like Malaysian Idol Winner Jaclyn Victor, DJ Gabriel, KRU and collaborated with Malaysian Reggae Ambassador Sasi the Don, Transient Vortex, Helmut Kraft, Nostalgic Dance Orchestra, J Lyall, Dragon Red, K Town Clan and Vandal. Ze has headlined a Red Sessions event, which has also featured
Dimitri from Paris, Austin Leeds and Rasmus Faber.
This time around, Saer Ze and producer Ruben Debusschere introduce a new project ‘Dirty Disco Doll’. Think Madonna, MIA, Santogold, Kylie, Moloko, Goldfrapp and the new Nelly Furtado, and you’ve got the new Saer Ze sound with Dirty Disco Doll.

When I reach 50k, I plan to have my producer RUBEN DEBUSSCHERE (of de Rockfabriek, Brussels) to produce my album - because he works the magic. I will work on a Zelicious tour to promote the album, and we can all be in business together. Sellaband is GENIUS.

I am currently in KL and my producer is in Brussels (where we've recorded our latest tracks at - de Rockfabriek). I plan to head back n to be based in Europe (n hv bn saving money the past 2 years) so I hope sellaband will help me do just that! I will keep posting my life shows on youtube ... am certainly lookin forward to doin shows in venues closer to you guys soon ;]

I've joined sellaband after being introduced to it by my producer Ruben a while ago, but I was skeptical if it would work for me (plus ive just recently self-released new material!).

We can get a great venue with a PA sound system, technicians etc. for free in the town Almelo Also a possibility to arrange a stand to sell stuff like your own promo articles.
They are even willing to pay some expenses. I personally know my way around over there. I’ve some great contacts to get more exposure/PR for the participating bands and acts .

We can have this Venue from 2 o’clock till midnight for free on Saturday the 12th of April 2008.
No ticket sales needed and a great opportunity to attract new believers and find extra PR (papers, radio, TV, posters etc.) Interviews will be broadcasted by radio. Posters and flyers included.
