Howdy!
Just wanted to pop in and give you a heads up on Sommersby's October Competition!
If you haven't already heard, the competition (hot on the heels of his recent neck-in-neck September fiesta) will offer 20 parts for the winner and is open to all artists that have between $9999 and $0 in budget.
Please check the forum for updates on contest rules and regs….starts 25 October!
This is a great opportunity for you. Campaign with the believers to let them know you'd like to be nominated and encourage them to vote for you when the time comes.
Of course, if you'd like to, or you know someone who would like to, donate parts for the prizes in the Competition, just send (or have them send) Sommersby the details under a message marked “October Donation."
Hope you join in on the fun and GOOD LUCK TO YOU!!!!
Oct 11 2006 19:31 CET Growing Old Disgracefully this is the Artist!
Growing Old Disgracefully is proud to have been selected by Mayoral Candidate Dr Lee Rotherham (http://www.newstart forlondon.com/) for his run for Mayor.
Every campaign needs a theme tune.
"When the Rotherham campaign took to the streets during the last General Election, with the kind permission of the band's management in Milan, the streets reverberated to the hit song "Blue" by Italian band Eiffel 65. That was one in the eye for the local Labour candidate, the then Europe Minister Denis Macshane.
This time around, it's a London beat that's playing called 'Cry Freedom' by the rock band 'Growing Old Disgracefully'. So Fresh Start for London is officially the first mayoral team to have their own theme tune. You can listen to it at http://cdbaby.com/mp 3lofi/growingoldd-01 .m3u. Enjoy."
