Anyone, who has already seen the guys of Diversion and one of their shows bursting with energy, knows that they're no sleeper anymore. Their special musical mixture of metalcore, crossover and alternative is kicking asses all across Germany.

This is why they've already supported well-known acts like Sportfreunde Stiller, Donots, In Extremo, Revolverheld and many more.

So meanwhile radio stations and television station as well have taken recognition of the four guys from southern Germany. Their very first single "Away" was played on different radio- and television stations and the very popular radio station "Hitradio Antenne1" broadcasted interviews and bulletins.

In September 2004 the second album was released under the name "Scary Tactics" in Germany, Austria and in Switzerland distributed by Soulfood (Sony). People loved the sound of Diversion so that's why the first single "Dyin' day" was about 14 weeks in the Top5 charts of "SWR/DasDING". The next single "Learn to fall" was able to outpace this success by being background music for one of the most successful shows of MTV - "Dismissed".

Then in March 2006 the third album was released. The next step was taken to define an own kind of sound and develop the own skills. Sophisticated arrangements and the high class sound made this album the best one done by Diversion so far.

After a time of intern conflicts a new singer was found. Alex Schmidt came into the band and together there was a successful Germany/Switzerland tour with the Gothic rockers of "Stoneman".

At present the guys are working on new songs to give something new to all the fans out there. Anyone knowing the band knows that there will be a huge development especially with the new singer and all the new influences.
