Now .......

I am a 58 years young Blues artist from Paris, Texas that has been on the guitar frets for 53 years. That's right, I started playing the guitar at the age of five and haven't let up yet nor do I have any plans on letting up anytime soon.

There is a photo in my photo album of me from back in 1955. Now don't even think about asking me why/how I still have that photo, ok. All I can say is, Thank You Mom for being such a pack rat, lol.

I play my own style of Blues but have a bit of many great Blues artists (such as Albert King, Lightin' Sam Hopkins, Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown and many more) in my feel. I was mentored by my Father who was an artist that could play anything at anytime. He just had such a feel and ear for music that he (like I can today) could walk up and play with any band, any genre at any time.

I have several tracks around the internet that sort of gives one a feel for my different styles but, I have uploaded here at SellABand what I think will give you a pretty good idea of just what I am feeling and how I bring it to you from down deep with-in my heart and soul.

"Funky Country Blues" is my Blues, Funk and Country feel, "Size Fifteen Shoes" is my Acoustic, Delta Blues, Blues Vocal feel and "Back Home Blues" is my General Blues Vocal feel.

I play all the instruments that you hear on my tracks, produce my sound, create my own artwork, light scribe all my disc, make my own custom, personalized, signed CDs as well as ship them out to you from my home studio here in Paris, Texas.

Details are currently being worked out for a Doc "MistaBluesman" Quinn" World Tour. I hope to get the opportunity to meet up with as many of you I possibly can and this alone excites the dickens out of me. An announcement will be posted here when dates are established and the promotion goes WOT, (Wide Open Throttle).
