'Place Duroc’ (pronounced in French) is Duroc’s first EP. This trio from Groningen (The Netherlands) presents five fresh songs, each of them with its own characteristics. But still all of them are honest, rocking popsongs with a raw edge; this raw edge defines the records’ genuine sound. The EP was recorded in July 2007 in studio Apres Midi, the mixing was performed by Pieter Kloos (Motorpsycho, Beef, The Travoltas, Peter Pan Speedrock, Woost) in The Void Studio, Eindhoven. Released in November 2007.

It’s all about the songs. Great songs with nice melodies and a chorus that just won’t get out of your head. Catchy, honest, pop/rock with a sound that characterizes Duroc. The bands’ sound can be linked to groups like The Kooks, Johan, A Balladeer and Interpol, or even Muse, The Police and R.E.M, but Duroc is first of all a true rock-trio, with a fundemental set up.
