Farida Merville was born on the 4th of April 1967 in Surinam. At the age of 17 she started singing first by here family that's still one of the famous traditional groups in Surinam and the Netherlands. (de vrolijke jeugd) She learned to sing harmonys and a all of those things you need to be a good performer. At the age of 20 Farida goes her own way in the music industrie. She's singing in diffrent kind of projects and with diffrent kind of artists.(national and international). From that moment on Farida here career grow more and more.....Short career inpression: Soundtrack of the dutch movie Sextet. Front lady of Quazar and Atlantic Ocean. Projects; Flowriders, Revelation time, Atongo Zimba, Saskia Laroo, and many many more.
