Although a very young band, Fled knows where the roots of rock 'n roll are to be found. Inspired by 70's hardrock but not neglecting modern influences, they mix it down to a sound that respects the old and brings in the new. In 2006, their first EP with a combination of studio and live tracks was released in early May and the first radio airplay was followed shortly thereafter. However, Fled is at its best on stage. They play as a 5-piece band with, surprisingly for their genre, a girl on vocals. With a ferocious drummer, a hyperactive bass player, two roaring Les Paul guitars powered by Marshall and agressive but sometimes beautiful vocals they like to play their gigs at its best. Early march 2007, "the Somewhere EP" was released. This 5 track demo shows great progress in both Fled's songwriting and performance.
