HISTORY

·          In the fall of 1997, five guys start playing music in smelly basements in Wroclaw.

·          Frühstück wins the contest for young bands at a national festival in 1999 (Song of Songs), and gets money to come out of the basement and record their first demo.

·          This demo gets Studio DR, an independant Polish label interested. A contract is signed for three years, three albums.

·          In november 2000, Studio DR releases MINE, the first album. The music is described as melodic guitar rock, the press is positive. The promotional single MASK makes it’s way to a few different radiostations, the videoclip to HOLD ME is shown on national Polish TV. But Frühstück is still an underground band on a low budget.

·          In december 2000, Frühstück is named as the best debuting band of 2000 in their region of Poland by Gazeta Wyborcza.

·          During 2001 and 2002, the band plays concerts throughout Poland and makes a few appearances in Latvia, Germany and Croatia.

·          MUZA is released in June 2003. The band’s second CD is distributed by Warner Music Poland, and is available in every musicstore in the country, to our great joy…

·          In July 2003, Frühstück plays their first tour in the USA; as the first Polish band at Cornerstone Festival, Sonshine Festival and Lifest. Upon return, Frühstück headlines their „hometown” SLOT Festival in Poland. It is a very intense, but very good summer.

·          The videoclip to Wake Me Up, gets nominated in October 2003 in three categories of the prestigious YACH filmfestival in Gdansk. The band finds it’s name on a list with well known Polish artists and chuckles… The video receives the YACH for editing!

·          We play at the Christmas Rock Night in Germany, december 2003

·          January 2004, our first prestigious concert of this year; main square of Wroclaw, a national charitative event, raising money for the health system.

·          June 2004, we play our first concert together with the R20 chamber orchiestra. It’s a hit and we start planning more concerts together.

·          April 2005, MUD (EP) is released. First reactions from media is very positive. EP is available in the US on Youngside.com and talks are in motion for release in Holland and other european countries.

·          Year 2007, many concerts in Poland and Europe like Italy, Germany, Slovakia, Austria in front of few thousand people on each.
